Two pitted scars...

I have a boxcar scar just under the tear trough. I've had this for many years.

Today, out of nowhere, I have an indent that looks like a small scar near my right nasolabial line. I have no idea what caused this, I take extremely close notice of my skin, it just appeared today. Maybe from glycolic acid... It's bothering me. I've had the boxcar scar for years so kind of accustomed to it now, but don't like this new random indent just appearing out of nowhere.

What can I do about it?

I have a Derminator. I've had around 4 microneedling sessions on the boxcar scar now and as far as I can tell it's exactly the same now as before.

I also have enlarged pores but I wonder if there's really anything that can be done about that. The blackness doesn't leave them even with salicylic acid.

That's it? Just two pits? Only two? Are you sure you haven't left out any by mistake? :)

Boxcar scars, especially ones with rough edges, are real pain to treat. You will first need to fill in the pits and then sand down or smooth out the edges. Depending on the depth of the pit, you can go with either subcision or infini. Subcision is more ideal for deeper pits, whereas infini is better for mild to medium depth. But with just 2 pits, I dunno if cost would outweigh the benefit, since these procedures can be expensive.

If the pits are not too large in diameter (or width), you might want to get TCA cross. It's cheaper and very effective for narrow pits.
