Hello, I have acne scars on my chin and temple area. I was wondering what treatment options are available for treating these scars? I am looking for something that is permanent (no temporary fillers). I have already had the Precision tx laser procedure. After the procedure the scars were 100% improved, but over time of two to three weeks the scars have appeared again with a 0% improvement. I have read that many people have had the same experience with the various laser treatments available. I have also had one session of micro needling (by a professional) of my entire face, which didn't help. I have tried using silicone gel and sheets with no success. Is there anyone on this forum who has success treating these types of scars? I would like to see at least an 80% improvement.
That big one on the chin looks like it's anchored to the bottom. Stretch it and see if it flattens. If not, you would need to subcise it. Subcision usually works best when fillers are used as a cushion in order to prevent scar reattachment. (That would suck big time if it sticks back down again, wouldn't you say?)
The ones on the temple are boxcars. These may also benefit from subcision as well. Overall, you will likely require multiple subcision + filler treatments.Infini RF is also a good treatment option for shallow to medium boxcars.
Your Chin isn't a scar if you mean the indents. That is from muscles underneath and you do botox. If you want permanent talk to a Plastic Surgeon about cutting the muscles or a implant.

If your referring to the texture You can do several medium strength TCA peels to smooth out the texture. This will also be spot treated on the temples after the subcision / rf microneedling.
Temples: Subcision 4of them... is the best treatment for your temples with saline injections (from the DR - cheap) and Chinese cupping (Amazon) for 3 weeks after. Also you need RF microneedling. You will need 3 of them.
Space your treatments out, scars take a while to heal.
Thank you for your replys. To clarify, I do not want to remove the dimple on my chin. I was born with that and it used to look good before I had acne. The scars on my chin look like colorless acne. They are literally raised bumps all over my chin. Facial hair does not grow on these scars. The scars on my chin have been there for about 11 years. They have not gotten better with time. I had absolutely terrible acne on my chin when I was about 13- 16. I had huge zits that lasted multiple months and they were extremely painful.

You will need 3 treatments of RF microneedling on all scared areas.
You will subcise 3 treatments any pits on your temples etc and do saline injections / Chinese Cupping as said above.
You will need a deep TCA peel - sedated, or "several" TCA medium strength peels to even out the texture. If the bumps on the chin, these can be the hardest to get rid of, you can do a resurfacing with pro-fractional laser if all else fails. They need to go deep, none of this superficial stuff.
