I've seen a derm asking about getting a facial peel and he recommended me getting a salicylic acid peel. From what I've read it's not very strong. He also had stronger peels but this is what he recommended for me to start. What do you think? I have scars all over my face. The left side of my face is very mild and not noticeable to me, my forehead has more noticeable scars and my right cheek/chin is the worst. There are a few large scars on my right cheek that I'm not expecting to remove, but I would like the smaller ones to smooth out and even out the texture in general. The ones next to my mouth and chin also bother me.
How bad are my scars and how bad do they look? And would one or two salicylic peels help me?

Left Side, I have mild scaring but I think it's barely noticeable. I'd be super happy if the other side could look like this!
It's do a tca peel. Sali will be to weak. Maybe he wants to do the Sali and see how your skin heals and reacts and move onto a stronger peel, try this route. Some do a Sali or Jessner before their TCA. Your scars are not bad very mild and textural. Clear and Brilliant laser is good for this, see recent review on acne scar sub or a few peels. We have a how to do them under the faq - top post in the acne scar sub and TCA peels. I see some icepick scars that he can fix with TCA cross.
Agree with BA, spot on... TCA over any other ... see a specialist and they can push 90-100% . 2-3 sessions. Then C and B or Fraxel ... C and B more cost effective, its essentially a Fraxel at 5 mj with a card- diode driven. Good doctors pulse stack the C and B in areas of concern, not just the standard 2 by 2 passes. RF microneedling in the correct setting with PRP can be useful. But one step at at time, TCA is the treatment of choice. May the force be with you.
Honestly your skin is near perfect. Yeah, theres one or two ice picks, but most people here would kill for your skin. Do milder treatments and see how you react first.
Thank you guys for the replies. It's comforting to hear that they are mild. I know it could be worse, but it is still a psychological struggle for me, as I see myself in the mirror daily and from every angle!
My derm can do TCA, PRP, dermapen and CO2 laser. Do all of these seem like good treatments? Anything I should avoid or ask about?
I'll be going for a consultation this week to try to set up a plan.

Thanks for the advice. The issue is I really only have about 3 days to recover from any treatment...I can have a week holiday from work, but only once this year. From my knowledge the strong TCA takes a long time to recover from right?
You don't need CO2, your skin is almost perfect. You can try clear and brilliant (great for large pores) or some simple tca peels. Less is more, if it's not broken don't fix it. Dermapen and prp (Alternative to ^ ) might work for you, again it's very minor.
Do clear and brilliant or microneedling you can heal over the weekend. Low down time but you need a few of them.
