I went to Dr. Nicole Schrader in Princeton for acne scar excision ($550). It was fast and almost painless. I was very pleased. She removed 4 scars that I have been in anguish over for years. I went about 6 months ago to Dr. Rappaport. He wanted to use different procedures to minimize. I had Infini (microneedling) OUCH!, and Fraxel and subscision. I only saw worse changes from these treatments. I never even went back to him for a follow up. It was a waste of money. ($1800) They numbed my face first and it hurt very very much. The entire procedure was very long. Not worth it plus traveling was too far for me. If anyone is in or near the Mercer County area, I recommend Nicole Schrader. I thought it was hard to find a doctor so I'm writing to let others know about her. She was nice and staff too. [Link removed]
Update for this procedure. Okay well the healing didnt not go as I had hoped., not happy Yes it was fast and painless but when I had my stitches out I had a keloid scar forming and the section under it seemed to be pitting. I am having it redone. Since the first excision I also had two more holes excised and Im not happy with those results either. Im going to have her redo them as well. Just losing faith in her stitch work. beforemarking the next spotsbefore
My skin is very porous. I hope I can minimize these scars.
after stitches removed from second procedure
second procedure with stitches
mark up for second procedure
after stitches removed after second procedure
top scar keloid
second procedure with stitches
top scar with stitches. I think stitching was done badly
The keloid is apparent hear on top scar. Not touching it because pimple formed close to it. Moving on to other marks.
before seeing plastic surgeon. But 6 months after Infini, subscision and fraxel with Rapaport. I dont recommend those procedures. Was a waste of $1800 a time and hope.
My skin is very porous. I hope I can minimize these scars. Im going back on Monday to fix the first one and these pictures are somewhat reversed.

Do some research on TCA Cross. It has worked for people with ice pick scars.
When your scars are shallower, look into fractional CO2 laser treatment. I'm not sure what your skin type is based on this picture but there may be temporary hyperpigmentation with that treatment.
