Question about Sunscreen

Hey people, I got a quick question about sunscreen. How long does will it last on your face BEFORE you go into the sun? I see a lot of people saying reapply every 1 hour or so, but that's assuming they go out 15-30 mins after they apply. For example if I apply moisturizer with 30 spf sunscreen in the morning (lets say 8am), and plan on being in the sun briefly for maybe 10 minutes around noon, will that be fine?

Thanks for reading!

10 minutes is nothing really unless you are on a retinoid, but I still highly doubt that you will get a sunburn. But to answer your question, the sunscreen will not be effective anymore if you put it on at 8AM and go out at 12PM. Typically sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours, but for some people who are more prone to sun burns or on a retinoid every hour or 80 minutes may be necessary, but only if you are out in the sun.

I just apply it once in the morning and that's it.
