Acne scar treatment recommendation with pics

I'm asian with slightly dark skin and suffered from acne since 11. It mostly went away about a year ago after more than 13 years of acne but it left me with a lot of scars.

Few years back i went to a dermatologist who recommended me chemical peels while prescribing me accutane which i think ruined my skin. In an attempt to save it i did one times eCO2 laser which did nothing and two times mixto laser. Mixto made my icepick scars wider but shallower, which made it look worse under harsh sunlight. Also the parts where i did mixto suddenly had more enlarged pores after the second treatment. My boxcar scars improved very little from the mixto. I then did subcisions three times for a few rolling scars and the boxcar scars that i had. They made quite a difference for rolling scars but boxcar were the same.

I'm considering microneedling by professionals but i'm not sure what is the recommended needle size as none of them were very specific about it. I'm scared any more treatments i do will make the ice picks scars i have worse than it already is.

I have attached photos of my scars.
I hope to get some advice from the people here.

If the lasers didn't work for you, needling probably won't either. The mixto laser hits around 1mm - 2mm depth; the number of penetrations significantly exceeds what needling (even a electric needler) will do.

I did needling first (20 + sessions at 1.5 mm - 2mm depth) with some improvement over many years (it did shallow up the deep scars, but your scars look relatively flat). Also needling doesn't help icepicks nor texture much. If you still have rolling scars, give it a shot.

Your scars are supposed to get wider and shallower after treatment. There was a good article on the healing process somewhere on acne.org.. but it often fills in that way.

They look pretty shallow. Are you sure laser "didnt work" or are you just disappointed they didnt go away completely?

I agree that if lasers really didnt help then needling wont either, but if you go that route I would recommend doing the research and investing in a nice device like the derminator. You will save thousands that way.
