Why is there no "excision" discussions?

Looks like a solid procedure that should be discussed more often.

Before excision:

After excision:

Here's how it's done:

They cut out of your scar(s), then stitch back your skin. You are left with linear scars at the cost of removing your acne scars.

To me this might actually seem worth it.

I would trade my disfigured, depressed, scattered holes and scars for a few lines any day of the week.

You're a great candidate for subcision and suction. You have pitted scarring, but your skin texture is not bad at all.

Except that's not me. That's a before and after of excision.

My scars are like his, except there is more of them scattered everywhere on the cheeks.

As what Dan34 said, you're a great candidate for subcision-suction if you have similar scars as the pic you posted. Excision is a very risky procedure especially if you don't heal well. I urge you to don't pursue that route unless you're very confident with your dermatologist or plastics. Take a look at this post. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/237144-pics-of-my-excision-and-severe-scars-help-me/ . Good luck to your journey!
