Hi,

so I just started on accutane quite a high dose (60mg a day) my acne is quite severe, everyone is excited for me as I have been struggling with acne / waiting to get my referral through to the dermatologist for a long time! 10 yeArs ago I fist approached my GP about acne and I have been on every treatment possible and it gets worse year on year.
I'm pretty happy too - first time my GP and Derm think this might actually be a successful treatment.
However in the back on my mind I'm thinking what about afterwards? I'm already really badly scarred, underneath my acne now is years of scars, it's very discoloured (red) and some are raised some are flat all over my face.
I know nothing about this so was hoping some others may have experience of what next and if there's anything I should look into.
