I stopped retin a. For some reason my pores were getting bigger. I don't know if it would have helped in the long run, but I couldn't handle looking like that any longer. After a month of stopping my pores look better. How long have you been using it?

Hi, I've been dealing with the same problem since I finished my Accutane treatment. I did only 1 round to be honest 10 years ago more or less. Could you please tell me your skincare? Sometimes I tend to breakout even if I follow a strict diet. Anyway I use benzac 5% when I get a pimple plus moisturize. I think we should take vitamin K in order to help our skin to heal faster without leaving mild scars. Maybe Lysine or Collagen as well. Who Knows? We just have to try aswe have thin skin due to Accutane.

this guys posts should be deleted from these forums. This guy is speaking of suicide because of his skin, look at his skin. Its more or less flawless.People like this guy should not be able to spread such negativity. Guy barely has skin issues, more like psychological issues and would be better off visiting a therapist.

I don't think it's fair for anyone to say this guy's issues aren't serious or that he should have his post"deleted." Yes, many people have skin much worse than his in terms of scarring, but a lot of us were in his shoes at one point. He's lucky it hasn't gotten worse.

I've gone through periods where every pimple would leave a pit (and I've never gone on accutane or used a retinol).

I would echo stopping any accutane or retinol if you haven't already. Exfoliateregularly and just maintain a simple skincare routine. Once COVID-19 dies down more and cosmetic clinics open again, seek out peels or a series of microneedling. I think your skin will improve greatly with just a few treatments because the scarring in general is pretty shallow. You'll be fine.
