my doctor said to not wipe off the blood and to put the retin A or serum moments before the rolling
he said it contains platelets necessary for rejuvenation as in prp and to apply vitamin first and needle because after needling the holes quickly close so the vitamin cant absorb like if you apply moments before and needle with it on your skin

tought it wouldbe helpful information and i dont know if it is true,
some needling expert here?

Interesting idea. I'll try this next time. Although I doubt it will make a big difference still worth trying.

This is something I have been trying to find more info on, these are the only two relevant documents I have found so far.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3996784/

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24258303

In the first, tretinoin is applied immediately before needling, then immediately after, followed by washing it off 30 minutes later. The second discusses 3 cases where there were adverse reactions, two being identified as allergic reactions. So be sure that you have applied thetopical to your skin onat least oneoccasion before you needle with it.

I do personally think that vitamin A is better than vitamin C after the rolling

Tretinoin is not just a vitamin. its a hormone and can activate specific sequences of DNA in the chromosomes of skin cells. The result of acctivating DNA in the skin has three effects:
1 - increases the production of skin cells in the outermost layer of the skin, the epidermis, so that it grows stronger.
2 - Cause the compaction of skin cells in the epidermis so that it grows thinner
3 - Increase the production of glycosaminglycans so that the skin layers down collagen fibers in a orderly fashion.

The problem with tretinoin is that it causes the skin to open where it is healthy as well as where it is sick. The skin between cysts can be red and inflamed. The rapid growth of the skin can also, ironically, increase the number and activity of sebaceous glands that make oily, waxy sebum. New pores can clog even while old cysts open. Another problem with tretinoin is that it makes the skin thinner before it makes the skin thicker. It makes the skin more susceptible to sunburn, etc.
