Subcision, derma rolling or both? (Pictures)

Can anyone tell me which treatment would be best for my scars or whether there are any other treatments that may work? I've heard that laser/fraxel could help but there have been too many horror stories about it going wrong and I can't risk my skin getting worse.

And judging by the photo, roughly how long will it take for my skin to look better?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think a laser would not work. Subcision works best in my opinion, especially combined with dermastamp. I would wait with a stamp when your acne is under control.

subcision + laser or subcision + rf needling .... ..u will need 3-4 sessions but they will definitely improve the look of this scars .. scar will always be there but they wont bother u .. good luck ... try to find a good doctor as experience is better than machines ...

** always remember combination treatment is better ,,,, my doc is doing .. subcision ,rf needling , microdermabrasion , co2 laser for me .. and in case i need prp she said she'll do it .. because no single treatment can treat rolling scars .. unless ur scars are all of same type depth shape etc etc ..

and dont worry too much its hard .. and it will take time atleast 6 months for all the treatments ..and dont think bout what u will lose in all these months just think bout what u will gain if u get the result what u want ..

good luck ..

Do NOT waste your money on Fraxel Restore, Fraxel Dual, or any number of other nonablative lasers on the market. They are essentially worthless for acne scarring. Get your remaining acne under control. Then I'd say subcision may help.

Do it all! :D

Derma rolling, subcision, chemical peels, retinoids. They're all so benign it really can't hurt.

Thanks for the replies :) I was thinking about lasers but I've read so many stories of things going wrong, I just can't risk it. What are retinoids?

To oversimplify, it's a cream/gel form of Vitamin A that quickens the life-cycle of skin cells - faster turnover - and stimulates collagen.

You won't see any quick/dramatic results with it but it's very widely used for anti-aging/acne scaring and should provide results over time.
