I'm really pale and is the main reason why my redness stands out so much, I need some colour on my face! I've avoided the sun for nearly 2 years because of accutane/acne

Im bloody pale! I've still got alot of redness scars, I want to get some colour on my face but i've heard the sun will just %100 make the scars even worse?

:( Thanks any help would be great

Try using a fake tan. If you have a good one it can work out realy nice.

Get spray tan for under $10 bucks. My trick is to cover the darker areas with heavy concealer and then spray your face. This way only the non-covered parts are tanned, and so the final color is more even. No one in this day and age needs to fry their skin to get a tanned look.

i'm having the exact same problem, my body is golden tanned but my face is super pale. I dont like fake tan either, it's annoying and horrible and a last resort ifyou can easily naturally tan. it also leaves my skin very uneven. I'm not sure how much worse the sun scars the scars, but what i do is try to tan my face at home. During the middle of the day when its warmest, I'm usually outside anyway, but I'll put band aids, usually cut up otherwise they're too big, over the areas of my face where the scars are. That way the sun doesn't affect them. When i go out with friends I'll also put sunscreen on the areas of the scars and continue throughout the day. It's frustrating, but it's all i can do :))))))
