Scars that remain the same after 12 months might be permanent. However, everyone's physiology is different so that statement might not be applicable to you.

It looks like shallow scars that can be treated with the right scar treatment. IMO I would read up on the TCA toothpick method where you buy TCA dip a toothpick into the acid and then place it into each individual scar. The area will immediately turn white and after awhile it will scab and then the scab will ultimately fall off. The scabbing is what you want here as it encourages healing and the collagen from you skin should help refill the depressed area. A good product to use in conjunction with TCA method is copper peptides. It will help with the healing process.

Do you think these are shallow or deep scars? Ive been applying tomato paste on my face and taking 1000mg vitamin c tablets daily..

Very minor, several rounds of subcison/needling with a couple of medium TCA peels should take care of that.

What gives with the tomato paste? How is that supposed to work?

Chill, they will fade away. Nothing serious about those scars, enjoy your healthy acne-free life, and pray for people like me, who fight with that horrible CURSE.

But really, this scars are nothing to worry about, scars need a lot of time to heal, but they're not permanent AT ALL.

Scars are far more depressing than acne. .Really..they make your face look deformed.:(

I clicked it in another light... Do they still appear shallow and capable of filling on their own?

if they are 8-10 months old u can do some minor treatment like a single needling or subcision session and they will completely go away , and they dont look that bad ,, from close even a simple pimple looks bad .. so dont worry .. u'll b fine and they will completely go away but it will take time ..
