If it hurts then its a zit, likely a cyst. And trying to pop it is just got to make it mad, leave it alone or it will scar you for real.

Keloids don't form that rapidly. You've got yourself an inflamed cyst that may or may not scar. Leave it alone, don't even touch it.

Either it will die down or it will mature, you never really know.
