As the photos show I have annoying scars. I am at a loss with how to heal them.

Currently, I am a vegan. I have been for about 3-4 months. Cutting out dairy has done wonders for eruptions.

But I'm left with nasty scars..

I've been using a vitamin c stem cell cream.. seems to help but I think the photos prove otherwise.

I think I make progress up in my mind.

I also have been using a Manuka honey ( I had some leftover before converting to veganism) & mixing that with a tumeric powder/sandalwood powder/rose petal mask.

Also SEEMS to help, but not enough.

I've been to dermatologists and the oral products make me sick to the point of throwing up & the topical leaves me either scaley dry like a fish or it burns terribly and is raw.

I don't break out like I used to, my main problem is theses scars. I can't even leave my house without makeup. I maybe leave once every two weeks. Because I HATE wearing makeup. I feel like it undoes all the progress I make.

I'm joining the airforce in two months and am kinda freaking out. I want to make these vanish for the most part before I go in because no makeup!

I'm terribly embarrassed of this.

I've tried coconut oil but it makes little bumps appear. Lemon juice just seems to burn. ACV is okay but I can't use it to much, it's the equivalent to a chemical peel. I've tried skin lightening products but I think those are pointless for this issue.

I think these marks are a result of my skin hyper-ly trying to heal.

Can someone just please save my life?

I'm also 20 years old and have been struggling with this since I was like 12-13. That's forever. I've never posted on one of these but I'm at the point of desperation. Please please reply <3

good news for you is that is an easy fix (no depressed scarring). i would suggest retin a for 6 months but sounds like you have already tried that.

You could go for a light set of peels to take off the upper layers of skin which should completely get rid of it. Just pay the money and get it done by a pro though do not DIY at home and risk causing worse scarring

Best to be as gentle as possible imo as you do NOT want to end up with any depressed scars

I have a tretinoin gel with is accutane in topical form. It's like $300 though.. So I was using it sparingly. & it's pretty drying.

But I'll try it again. I just hope it works before it runs out cause I can't afford another.

I could maybe do a peel.. I have a gift card to a spa near my house. I just haven't known if I should use it for laser therapy or a peel..

Thank you though!
