I don't know why, but my skin scars very easily. Even after a small comedone heal, it will leave behind scar- like a small ice pick scar. So I am super confused. I don't see it with other people's skin. Is this inherited from your parents? Surprisingly, both my parents have nice complexion, except for me. Also, is there any solution for this?
@Robertitoo Thanks for your reply! Good for you! (: Jawline hardly scars! And your breakouts seem to be in control, judging by the way you describe it. However, my breakouts are on my cheeks, which scar easier than other areas of your face. Nope, I haven't used Retin A before. However, I did get invasive laser treatment to help with this scar.
I'm on the verge of clearing up my skin for good (hopefully) lol but same here.. My skin scars VERY easily. No one in my immediate family has had acne before so can't say if they would scar just as easily BUT.. Man, my scars are so bad right now that it looks like I have bad acne but in reality, I have little to no bumps now.
But then again.. I wasn't dealing with just whiteheads, I was dealing with small cysts - nodule type acne so maybe that's why..
Hi, have you tried a compounding topical cream for your scars. I work in compounding and I just started using a new product on a small facial scar, C-section and stretch marks, so far looking good. Most insurances are covering (except for your copay) and the clinical trial I reviewed on all types of scar tissue had fantastic results. I have the information you take to your physician in my email if you would like it. Take Care and good luck.

Yeah. I get it too! My immediate family members hardly have acne scars. That made me depressed being the only one in the family having to deal with acne scars. Your scar is atrophic, not depressed scarring? Since it looks like acne? I am only guessing with the limited knowledge I have, based on past researches on acne scarring.

Compound topical cream? What is it? I haven't heard of it before.

Have you tried using manuka honey? This one helps a lot with face acne and old acne scar. I also wash my face only twice a day using mild soap.

I'm not exactly sure what those two type of scarring is but I probably have both.. Along with hyperpigmentation as well. I have a lot of pink/red/brown spots that aren't acne. FML lol I'm just happy my skin is at least starting to clear and I'm not getting much new bumps

I am glad for you! (:
My acne was really terrible, but I've never had any scars until I started taking accutane. My face cleared up but I was left with massive holes that weren't there before. That was two years ago and I still get new scars from any occassional pimple I get.
I read about it too! I took accutane for a while. Maybe that is the reason, as well
