Photo Finish is a wonderful product, but get the Light version if you're acne-prone, and don't wear any primer for more than 5 or 6 hrs at a time.

Translucent powder is a staple cosmetic (stay away from the stuff in the white/gold round box, it's talcum based.)

Sheseido everything is quality, but very overpriced.

If you have any deep scars..Dermaflage. Seriously, stuff is AMAZING. It's a topical filler that gives the illusion of smooth skin, the only downside to it is the scar can't be too wide (anymore than an inch and a half) or it won't move well with facial expressions. I use it on my two deepest scars and it instantly transforms my face.

To be honest, though, I find it really difficult to apply any foundation other than airbrush for moderate-severe scarring. Even if you can get it to look perfect, after a few hours it tends to not look so good...cream based foundation just sinks in too easily even with a primer (my experience anyway). Airbrush makeup is the only thing I can consistently get to look good and last all day and actually look like my own skin.

I've tried Enkore's tips and my skin looked great for about two hours before it started to look cakey and unnatural. Although the salmon concealer really does work well to neutralize the shadow of the scars, it just didn't hold up for me.

Have you tried the Ben Nye Tattoo Cover Enkore suggests? It looks awesome in his video but I don't know how I feel about wearing what's basically stage makeup everyday.

If you have a lot of deep scars it probably wouldn't be worth it. I have a lot of scars myself, but only a few of them are very deep and those are those are the ones I use it on.

I haven't tried Ben Nye's Tattoo Cover, but It's relatively inexpensive and has a lot of good reviews so it may be worth trying out. Most tattoo cover cream foundations/concealers are really heavy feeling which is another reason I try to stay away.
