thats a great improvement, would you mind taking the pics in day light and comparing it to the original in day light?

the big marks are so less obvious and more smooth! what do you think will make it even smoother now? stamps?

thanks so much, how are things now?

hey guys, so i have hadTCA cross done by a board certified specialist about 7 weeks ago, interestingly there is about 30-4-% improvement in my scars but it has left me with dark red/brown spots. i am using hydroquinone 2% and vitamin c serum, can someone please tell me the approx downtime involved in TCA cross..how long before these marks go away??????

You can ask your dermatologist to write you a prescription for 8% hydroquinone, which you have to get made for you at a compounding pharmacy. That strength may be irritating though.

Hello to everyone! I know it has been a while. Right now i am full time in school and working. So the free time i get i usually sleep. Anyways my apologies for the delayed responses and updates. Well i think it has been well over a month or more since my TCA Cross. Here is the updated pics. So far, the discoloration has been controlled with the hydroquinone cream i used, the ice pick scars i treated have significantly risen, close to surface. I am happy with the results. All i really have now is minor indentation. To be honest, i don't feel the need to do another TCA Cross. I will start Derma Stamping this weekend, just wanted to give me skin sufficient time to heal properly.

Wow you have had massive improvements!!!

The two holes you had on one cheek is similar to the one I attempted to get treated with TCA Cross professionally. However, mine have not shown similar improvement and have actually gotten worse due to depression of skin next to the scar as the dermatologist managed to touch my healthy skin with TCA as well. Maybe excision will help now.

But thanks to your pictures, maybe I can realise that my scar is not as horrific as my brain thinks it to be. You have similar ones and they do not look bad. Thank you for making me feel better. Hope your acne journey goes well
