The medicine is so improved that people can have f***ing open heart surgeries easily but it is completely HARDCORE to fade some little dot in your face from acne i mean like i have tried everyting
8 PDL treatments (my derm told that its usual to have %30-40 improvement with each treatment but hell no i had max %1-2 with some of them)
3-4 IPL treatments (with exactly 0 improvement)
Salicystic acid peels (0 improvement)
ACV and baking soda (burned my face 0 improvement)
lemon juice (burned my face)
turmeric broke me out
i also use retin a with no improvement
like im starting to get paronoid do they purposely try to make no improvement what so ever (or little) to make you go to the clinic again and again?I mean my procudere takes max 30 seconds (pdl) like is it normal what should i say to my derm
that is odd to have no improvement especially with the IPL treatments but then again did they do multiple passes on each spot and did they raise the intensity each time too? every IPL i have had always gave me results and if it didnt i would go back and make them do it for free until i got results.
red and brown spots for me were always the easiest thing to remove for me. its the scarring that is hard for me to get rid of now.
no actually PDL is the laser i see minamal results with not IPL
they certainly dont do several passes just one zap on each red mark
how long does one session take in your country?
i know its not an issue with my current derm because old one used to it exactly same way(max 30 seconds)
what do you think?
that is the issue then with the IPL when i get them they do at least 3 zaps on each spot but last time the lady did 10 zaps on each spot and each time the intensity(till they get to the max they can do for my skin type) is upped so it burns more (for about a half hour then goes away) but the red marks go away a lot faster! i live in the US and have gone to 4 different places for IPL and they have all done multiple passes. i would say at least 20 min or so for 10-15 red marks is the time for the treatment. if i get my full face done then that takes a lot longer.

i believe there is improvement maybe you just dont see it or youre trying out to many things to notice
stick with a regimen things dont fade in a day

so 15x10=150 zaps lets assume each zap takes about 2 seconds 150x2=300 seconds means 300/60=5 minutes how it can take 20 minutes i didnt get that ?

i have a regimen which is PDL but the problem is its expensive and i dont see an improvement
I think you are thinking about this too much. When i say 20 min that means for the entire thing so in between zaps they watch my skin to see how it reacts then they zap again and so on. They do so many at a certain intensity then they change it halfway through so it takes some time. After its over they cool down my skin for a bit then put lotion on and i am done.
damn i know what u mean but even if it seems kind of stupid i think it also makes sense bcs heart fe is large chunk organ so u can cut it and operate it but skin dot is a microscopic problem so u cant rly cut out the damaged part and transplant new skin in there just like that. however it is still rather stupid, like all u gotta do is to make body repair the place, whats taking so fuking long??? broken bones heal faster than that little shitty spots!!!
i am not quite sure i never timed the actual zapping but probably not that long since each zap is only a few seconds at the most. like i said before the key is multiple passes over the same spot. most places will make sure that you are happy and give you a free treatment if you see no results. they dont want negative reviews floating out there if they can avoid them.
