Are These Scars? Will They Go Away?

Let me know if I need to be worried about scarring with this acne. I think I have it under control now, I just need to know if there will be any scarring, how much, and if it will go away over time. Also what can I do to help speed up the process. When I look at my skin I see no indented scars but it has changed colors as you can see in the picture. I had just woke up in this picture and my face was a little dry.

It just looks like hyperpigmentation to me. The quality isn't the best but I wouldn't be surprised if you had a couple of shallow rolling scars. You can do acid peels (lactic, glycolic, etc.) at home to lighten pigmentation and you can use AHA cream, like Dan's AHA+. The cream you can use every night (but start slow) and peels probably twice a week and then you also slowly work up the percentage.

How long do you think it will take before it goes away completely?

You have most hyper pigmentation with perhaps a few very shallow scars. I would get the kit for the Regimen and use both the BP and AHA+ to help control any acne and fade the redness. Both the BP and the AHA will increase cell turnover and fade it faster than with just the AHA+.It could take anywhere from 6 months to a year to completely fade but when it does, any shallow scars you have will look MUCH better without the lingering hyper pigmentation.

Hi missamua. My name is Sergio and I have some marks too on my cheeks. What product can I use for me?

Sergio, are your marks red or indented?

It depends on the person - how long does it usually take scars to fade for you? If I get a scar anywhere, it usually takes me a year or more to fade, my skin just sucks like that -_-. You should see a difference in your skin within the first few weeks though, and you'll notice it constantly improving as you continue using it.
