Went for my first doctors appointment for my acne scars today and told him I was depressed about my scars and I would like something done with them.

He just happily said no problem, I will get you transferred to a plastic surgeon and I will be looking at cosmetic. I asked would this be free and he said.. well this would be something we can look into for you, if not we could go down the private route.

Would the private route be free too?

I told him that a dermatologist was probably a better option so he's transferred me to there instead, do you think that was the right decision?

My scars are only small, no too deep. No currently acne, all clear.
