Yeah I had what clearly was two box car acne scars on my cheek and had them excised by a professional plastic surgeon, he made them look a lot better and more like accident scars which is easier to live with and i'm sure you would agree too. Just make sure you find the right person to do the job. Remember, good work aint cheap and cheap work aint good. It's a long process that is going to take many years to get the final results to where I want them but I really have no other choice, I want them gone more than just about anything else right now, good luck to you.

how much did you pay per scar? how far was the skin stretched? im worried that since mine is by my lip i dont want it to stretch my lip line out.. i guess thats a question for my plastic surgeon. im seeing him next month because he wanted afollow up on how the subcision went. ill ask him then

$350 a piece. A bit high to some people but I did the research and got the most experienced board certified platic surgeon in the closest major city (Houston) to perform the procedure. Im not too sure what you mean by stretching but i know that its better than it was before and with future treatments of various other treatments I think there is room for further improvement. If you get the procedure done the best time to wait until further treatments is around a year since that is the time it takes a scar to reach its full maturation. Dude, just be lucky you only have one scar, I think with the right things done you can get some nice improvements

350 is nice. i went to a board certified plastic surgeon in the area and he told me it would cost $650, i walked out having paid $100 for the consultation. felt scammed. what i mean by stretching is since the skin will have to cut out, then stitched together, the scar is close ot my lip, i dont want it to pull my lip up in the process. i also have MANY scars on my forehead and nose from chicken pox, i honestly dont care about them though, im just upset i gave myself a scar on my lip that i should have NEVER had in my life.

so its been 8days since the treatment, and all the bruising has went away, . there is still hyper pigmentation surrounding the scar which is annoying. but the depth seems to have risen a bit, still NOT at skin level, but it definitely did help ! the texture is still goofy , i mmight do a derm roll soon to the area hoping to smooth it out. i am planning to do another subcision in the next couple months. i want the skin to heal up first tho. overally i would say subcision does help, but mind you, i do have left over restylane that i was able to move around and help mold the skin.

Use arnica to prevent extra inflammation/bruising, ect.

Get at wholefoods, the strongest strength.

I had a subscision 2 years ago followed by 2 units artfill on cheeks. 2 years later its better but i have a more critical eye so im really not sure how much. My question is did the dr recommend a filler for u after the subcision?

i have had filler about a year ago with subcision. this time we just did subcision on the scar on my lip, the skin has pretty much healed up (3weeks in now). i wanted to do another dermroll before i follow up with my dr in the coming weeks. i just dont want to rush since the under skin still may be healing, but that also makes me think if i derm roll the top, maybe they can work together, for a better result ?
