Enerjet Downtime - Urgent

Hi all,

Long time reader, first time writer.

Basically, I have a question which needs help from y'all. After careful consideration I went to see Dr. Tapan Patel (London, GB) last week for a consultation about my moderate/severe Boxcar and Rolling acne scars. I intend to write a proper post detailing my experiences with him in full at a later date, so will return to the consultation, decision making process etc. then.

Anyway the upshot is that he recommended a treatment with Enerjet. I'm aware of how this works, and agreed that it was the best option.

Crucially, Dr. Patel suggested the downtime was just 24 hours - my fcae would be red the next day, but this could be covered with light make up (I'm a bloke, but thats besides the point really!). However, the day after the treatment is scheduled I have an important presentation at work and want to be looking presentable (if not perfect haha).

Do we think this is likely?

More info: I have Caucasian skin, and have previously had aggressive derma rolling treatments - which had recovered satisfactorily by the following day. Also taking 1500mg of Vitamin C daily, using vitamin C serum and a separate vitamin E cream to help healing process and collagen remodelling.

Thanks guys - your insight is appreciated! Please get in touch soon, the appt. is the end of this week.

no way you will have at least one week down time if you are doing a intensive session. i do treatments on cheeks and the down time is one week easy.

I did get the procedure done, in the middle of March. Will post properly in a couple of weeks about benefits.

In terms of down time, I found Enerjet was actually far closer to Dr. Patel's 24 hour estimate than no_hope's experience. I would say that the next day I was presentable, and that all major swelling had receded quite significantly. I do have very tough skin though, so this may explain the difference in time scales.

It does leave you looking like you have a bad acne outbreak for 48-72 hours, but after this time I'm not sure anyone would have noticed.

If you were to have the procedure done on Friday afternoon, or even Saturday morning, I would say that you would be fine for work on Monday morning.

ps. the swelling immediately after Enerjet is awful! I looked in the mirror and regretted it instantly, but after a few hours it calms down well enough!
