Every mirror i look at my acne marks always look different. i am tired of not knowing how my face really looks. In most mirrors it looks fine but some make me look completely discusting. When i take pictures my face looks fine but if i turn the flash on they look bad. Out in the sunlight it looks bad but when the night comes i can hardly see the redness. i stare at my face all day long. all i wanna know is how does it really look, how do other ppl see it. someone help
Well I can't comment on how it looks since you haven't attached any pictures, but I can at least empathise with you. My skin looks different every day, and that's just because it's the products working to lighten up my marks or even up the texture. But you shouldn't be so obsessed with how it looks. I am always like hyper-aware of how I look and whenever I make eye contact with someone the first thing I wonder is "how does my skin look?". But I've since realised that this isn't a healthy way to live...I feel like you'll always be super critical of your skin and you'll never be comfortable in it if you're always wondering what other people think.
Not to mention some people have terrible eyesight, don't notice small details, don't care about these things, etc. There's not going to be one collective opinion so don't stress yourself out!
I've learned not to bother looking in mirrors. You're totally right that every mirror makes you look different. Some of them make it look like I have a long face, others are by windows and illuminate the little bumps and scars with white light, others make me look very attractive. It's silly. I've just stopped paying attention to most of them...I use the dimmest lights possible, too, so I can't see anything even if I did look. I still do this, even though my skin is actually really good right now...
