Hey, i have this very deep noticeable pore next to my nose area that i would like to treat. I tried dermarolling, which isnt for this type of scarring but still. I also done TCA Cross with a toothpick on it twice, but havent seen much of a difference. Are there any procedures i can get done with a dermatologist/surgeon to get rid of it? also have other open pores on my nose im trying to get rid of, but this one is more noticeable and bothers me. Thanks.post-148135-0-90290100-1389375284.jpgpost-148135-0-89136500-1389375327.jpgpost-148135-0-67001200-1389375393.jpgpost-148135-0-82336100-1389375447.jpg

How long have you had the indent?

Exfoliation should help. Preferably with a chemical exfoliant like glycolic acid, rather than manually with a scrub as that can be irritating

They are not very bad, but i know that it is not nice to have them.

I hope they go. You could also try a retinoid, like differin, which also exfoliates the skin

^^ retinois can also help collagen production to some extent, so may help with the indent.

That looks more like a scar than a large pore...sorry. I have a very similar scar. Went to a bunch of PS and they all refuse to excise it. I'll be looking into filler or lasers soon. Need to address some issues with my other cheek first. Good luck!

Yea i guess you are right, sorry for the confusion. But it is a scar, i guess i referred to it as a large pore because there are some on my nose that im sure are pores that are oversized but not really scars. In what city did you get refused by all those PS? is excision really dangerous or something?

I'm in Toronto. 4 different PS told me that excision was not the answer for me. That's not to say it doesn't work but it has to be the right scar, in the right location. Excision, like all treatments I suppose, can also go very badly and make things worse. See RealSelf for some examples.

You might want to consider subcision. I'm going for my first subcision + filler for my boxcar scars today! You can follow the progress in my thread.

I been thinking about subcision but i dont know if my scars are deep enough. Been wondering what the journey would be like, so can you please post before and after pics right after the procedure and the nexts day just so i can get an idea of what to expect on my face? thanks.
