hi ive been lurking these forums for about a year now on everyones dermarolling methods decided to make a account and post. first off i have a rolling type scar, not from acne, but i actually used wart remover on my face and gave myself a huge dime sized crater above my lip, looks very nasty. been trying to heal it for 2 years now.

so far I have had a restylane injection 8months ago. I have started using a dermroller about 4 months ago. I have started out with a .05 MM used once a month, and a 1MM about twice since i started 4months ago (6treatments total). A week before every treatment, i stock up on vitamin c pills, biotin, and msm. and continue this until after the redness has gone down from the dermroller. These past 4 months i have also daily been using 20% C+e+ferulic acid serum , cerave moisturing cream and scarzone green tea spf 15 sunscreen. four days out of the week im using ROC wrinkle filler

i am curious if i need to up my regimen, my scar was/is very deep. its above my lip so its very hard to target correctly and have to be careful not to damage the lip itself. should i use the .5MM more often? drop it and move to 1MM only ? im also planning on doing another restylane injection within another 3 months.

have uploaded a pic, may be hard to see or might not look like much, but i assure you it is deep !

From what I have read dermastamp or single needles are more appropriate for individual scars. You can be more aggressive without hurting healthy skin. From personal experience I only know dermarolling, though. It has not worked on my deep scars yet.

The dermstamp and the dermpen are the only way. I use a knock off dermapen and it is so much more easier to get areas as the one you describe.
