Hi there,

I'm a new member on here and I would really appreciate any help I can get.

My whole life I was blessed with great skin, I would get maybe a small pimple or blackhead every 3 months (stress induced usually) and it would go away within 1-2 days. About over a month ago I was stressed because of midterms and I got an under the skin pimple on my chin, I expected it to go away like usual but after 3 days it was still there and it hurt so to my mistake I started to squeeze it. It didn't have a white head but i continued to squeeze it until eventually puss came out and I stopped when blood started to come out. I disinfected it, washed my face and didn't touch it. A week later it was still there and there was a red pump there and it hurt so I knew that there was still puss inside but again it didn't have a white head! I squeezed it again and more puss came out and once it started to bleed I stopped and disinfected it and put an onion skin on the bump to help suck out any more puss that was there. The next day it appeared better, just a small little red/purple scar that I thought would go away on its own, but now it's been 3 weeks later and it's still a red/purple-ish tiny bump, it doesn't hurt at all though. It's not very noticeable with make up on but once I take it of you can see it. I don't know what it is, or what I should do. Please help me, I've been waiting over a month for it to go away! sad.png

I would also like to know cuz I had a similar experience about a week ago and it left me something like that on both my cheek. They are not inflamed but don't seem to be going away or being reduced in size over time. They are just there. I will just keep applying Epiduo for the time being...

Hi!
Let me share my personal experience regarding skin problems. I have struggled countless times with similar pimples. Unfortunately they are very resistent and longlasting. Squeezing is not a solution because the root of the problem lies deep in the derma and irritation may lead to scars (as it is in my case). The most effective way for me were products with high percentage of salicitic acid. It is suggested to apply them for several minutes but I spend the whole night with it. Only cover the problem area. The skin gets pretty dry but the pimple gradually disappears in 2-3 days. I find this way very effective for my skin (but I am prone to acne). Try immediate response blemish cleanser by Avon.
I hope your skin improves soon.

most likely a scar since u got all the puss out right ? do not squeeze it out unless theres a white head that appear or else you are gonna cause more damage/make things worst because it isnt ready to be popped

I'd say its likely just hyper pigmentation aka a red mark. From my experience, pimples do not scar on my chin unless they are incredibly deep. I wouldn't worry too much about it, the redness should fade in a week or so depending on your skin
