Hey guys, first time posting. My acne is under control right now, what has been bugging me is the 6 or so small bump-like scars I have on my nose. Are they Hyperthropic? What would be the best treatment? As far as I know, a chemical peel and or the vinegar approach will help? Looking for any advice
(The picture is not very clear, but you can see 3 or 4 of the bumps)
Yeah, these are hyperthropic, I have 2 myself. I will make it easier for you. I have been searching for a way to reduce these myself, what I have been searching for is something that would work on hyperthropic scars, this is what I have found:
I found hemorrhoid cream that works on hyperthropic scars, essential oils, enzymes (serraptetase and nattokinase), vitalzym (enzymes+other ingredients), manuka honey and manuka oil, then gotu kola, sangre de drago, massages, needling, silica "drink", florasil, micropore tape (and other tapes), thyme oil, tamanu oil, vinegar method, edgar cayce scar oil recipe, saliva, urine therapy, celandula oil, germ oil, Helichrysum oil, black seed oil, arnica oil, dr max scar serum, avocado oil, aloe vera, invincible scars, emu oil, old urine for topical application, retin A, castor oil.
From everything I have found so far, the most effective indeed sounds castor oil, and then rosehip oil and avocado oil, and perhaps also Helichrysum oil.
What I have been thinking about doing was: Use baking soda mixed with water, I did it once, it is a home microdermabrasion (I have tried it long ago, it kind of worked, you can abrade your old scar like this, and it will flatten it with each session a little tiny bit). So with this, perhaps abrade the old scar on the surface, bit by bit, therefore flattening it mechanically. Then I would perhaps needle it few times (using needles from own.doc), only very slightly, then with finger push on the scar for 20 seconds (as it is recommended on own.doc), and either:
1. tape it with micropore tape, therefore putting constant pressure on scar, scar would be reinjured, so hopefully it would be easier to remodel it.
2. swab cotton ball in castor oil, or vitamin E, or perhaps rosehip oil, place it over the scar, and then put micropore tape over it to keep both pressure on the scar, and keep the scar soaked in one of the healing oils throughout the night.
I am not sure yet.
