My acne's under control now, but I have a lot of red marks on my cheeks, a little rough texture and this weird sort of extremely shallow gash from a cluster of tiny pustules. Does dermabrasion do a good job of removing these types of things? By good, I mean does it completely remove them? And is it permanent or will the red marks and stuff resurface after a couple months? If anyone's tried it I'd love to here your experience, how many treatments and results! (:
Oh! Also! You know how sometimes pitted scars are dark brown/red inside as well? Can the microdermasbasion reach slightly inside those to remove the pigmentation and make them less dark at least?

I had hyperthropic scar on my nose from cystic acne. I went to dermatologist, she recommended me microdermabrasion. Nurse took some of the scar away, BUT pushed harder on my skin and made the scar twice as big, and it is hyperthropic
Ugggghhhh that sucks 🙁 I hate hearing stories where doctors/derms/etc end up screwing their patient over. It makes me angry when people spend so much money and get their hopes up only to have it come out worse. I don't have any hypertrophic scars, sorry I can't be of more help.

Sweeeeeet. But it's permanent, right? The red spots/roughness won't like pop up again? I've heard that results are temporary and need to be maintained. I can only afford a certain number of treatments, I don't want to keep going back every month to maintain results.

my friend it depends on how hard your roughness is if its just red spots maybe 10 procedures it will be more or less gone
