As a result of accidentally knocking off three large pustules on my nose (while doing things like brushing my hair away or putting on my glasses) I've been graced with three horridly obvious scars on my nose. They are in a line; one icepick on the tip, and two moderately deep boxcars above them. The boxcars are also quite dark looking (pih?).They look horrendous and I need to get rid of them asap. My acne is under control now (thanks antibiotics), by the way.
What options are available for me to fix these types of scars? Ii would attach a photo but I can't find a place with good enough lighting for them to be seen clearly.They aren't shallow enough to be fixed by something like a peel, but shallow enough so that if I stretch the skin on my nose, they pretty much align with my normal skin. I'm also fairly dark skinned so lasers and peels are really not a good option for me.
What other treatments can I get? How much down time will they bring? What will I be left with at the end? What is the cost? Can I onyl spot treat those three scars or do I have to do treatment in large areas?

Have needling done. What you have is fairly small and requires minimal attention. What you can do is have a tattoo artist do a manual method on you which works pretty well. Have them use a 5.4.00 needle but not in a machine.They can cut the shaft in half and insert it into a Staedtler mechanical pencil holder. They will need to spread the needles with dental floss and you have a hand tool. And the have to clean it and wrap it. Probably the best way to do this. Should take about 15 minutes and not cost much.The thing is you don't get 100%. When the epidermis is replaced with modified tissue (re-epithilized tissue) there will always be a difference in thickness between old and replaced tissue.
