Here's The Protocol That Healed My Acne Scars

I too have tried everything for my scars with no luck. But recently (about two months ago) I started a new regimen. I didn't notice any changes but I saw a friend and they noticed... So the changes must be gradual and only noticeable to people who haven't seen you in a while. But it is the first time someone has ever told me my skin was improving. My scars are indented and lighter than the surrounding skin, and those are the toughest kind to get rid of. Skin fading cream only makes it my situation look worse since the scars are already too light. So here's what I've been doing differently. I don't know if it's a combination of things that helps or if it's just one or more of these things. All I know is it has improved things...

Once or twice a week I will gently needle my skin. I have a dermaroller but I feel it is easier to do - and less painful - to just use a sharp needle and pinpoint the scarred areas. If the needle is dull, I sharpen it with a knife stone. The sharper it is, the easier it pops through the skin and the less painful it is. I do this at night because it will redden my face a little and the redness subsides by the morning. After I do the needling, (and every night whether I needle or not,) I apply the following and let it soak into my skin: In the palm of my hand I mix MSM cream (any brand - I buy it cheaply from Swansen Vitamins), Bio-Oil (available ant most drug stores), BB cream and "snail cream" and I thicken it with a little bentonite clay "toxin drawing" powder. I leave that on my face over night. During the day I use a little bb cream to hide the scars also. I also use an infrared led lighting unit as often as I can after I apply the nightly serum.

Also, in addition to the multivitamin and fish oil that I always take, I've been taking a bromelain supplement (papaya or pineapple enzyme that aids in digestion - I think it may also help "digest" the scars!) And lastly, I try to eat beans - yes beans - everyday. By beans I mean kidney beans, black beans, navy beans etc. Once your body gets used to eating them everyday, the unfortunate "side effect" of eating beans subsides. I wasn't eating them for my skin, but only because I know that they're great for you. As a matter of fact, a study has shown that many people that live past 100 eat a lot of beans. But I started this at the same time as my skin regimen so maybe this has also added to the good results. All I know is I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing... I have also been using "black soap" when I shower. (Shea butter and cocoa butter soap.) Everyone is different so I can't guarantee what works for me will work for you, but even if I can help one scar sufferer out there, it is worth telling you about my experience.

Note: the results come slowly, over the course of a month to two months and don't expect dramatic instant results. Like I said, someone else will probably notice the improvement before you do. But this is the only thing that has improved my situation and I have tried tons of products. The acidic "peeling" serums only agitate my skin and cause more breakouts so this is counter productive for me. My skin is too sensitive for that. The mixture that I create is very easy on sensitive skin. Copper products haven't really helped either, and they are a little agitating to my skin as well. Don't waste your money on Onion extract gels either. They don't work. And the one bumpy scar I have I've tried silicone gel and has done nothing also. No luck with zinc creams either.

I've been doing this for about 4 months now and my acne scars are about 90% healed and I see no reason why they won't be 98-100% healed in the next couple of months [*EDIT UPDATE - I continued this protocol for several months after and never could get rid of the DEEP scars, the other scarring is gone and stayed away]. This is a HUGE improvement as I had acne scars covering both of my cheeks with deep indention that could be seen regardless of lighting. I didn't have the weak acne scars like some people on the board are freaking out about and then you see in the picture it was a couple of indentions...I had acne scars that make people feel uncomfortable when they talk to me. I had acne scars that I would catch people staring at or could tell they were trying to tell themselves not to look at but had to because it was so gross.

I used the derma roller for 2 years straight (actually more like three years) and had little to no improvements so when this started to repair it was extremely obvious that something was going on and it's for sure this protocol.

As for what each one does, just google it, I'm not trying to sell anyone on this protocol, they can take it or leave it makes no difference to me. The only reason I've posted this is because I wish this had been here when I started searching these boards and I know how this can effect someones life.

Hi CrispyCraters!
I was wondering if you're scarring stayed away after discontinuing the protocoll? I am asking because I had read about some people who said there improvements weren't lasting using the Copper Peptides.
Looking forward to hearing from you and take care!

Kristina
