Hello. I've had some bad acne for quite a while and i can finally see improvements, i get like 1-2 small pimples a week, but now im left with some bad looking redness. Ive been treating my acne just with a wash and azelaic acid cream and it seems to help a bit for the scars too but its not enough. Do you think they will leave some bad pitted scars behind?

From what I see, those are clearly PIH scars. To treat them, a lot of people use lemon juice or emu oil, but I'd say it would be good to use a cream like Differin or Tazorac and see how that goes. Also, wash your face 1-2 times a day (if it dries you up too much to do twice a day, just wash it once either at night or in the morning). Use a moisturizer daily that won't make you breakout (I use Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer) and a sunscreen to prevent the scars and redness from becoming worse (I'd recommend SPF 30+).

Also, have you given "The Regimen" a try? I've seen and heard incredible things about it. I personally haven't used it because I don't have acne like I used to, mostly I just have PIH red marks but I'm doing TCA Peels for them. Judging by your description, you should definitely give it a try.

for me, it's look like PIE than PIH , post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is related to melanin, but post inflammatory erythema (PIE) is related to redness

I can't try the regimen since we don't have BP products in my country and i don't want to order online. The azelaic acid cream did a good job for my acne without irritating my skin at all. Anyway, my scars don't look as red as my crappy ipod camera shows, they are a little bit darker but still red. I'll upload a better pic if i find my camera. :)
