I feel ya man. I'm on accutane right now and aside from the active acne under my jawline there is not much on my face but theres tons of red marks. It sucks because to my knowledge there isn't much you can do about them till you're done treatment.

Buy Dan's 2.5% BP and his AHA+ bottle and follow his regimen step by step: http://www.acne.org/regimen

The 16 oz BP bottle lasts for 2 months, so if I were you, you should buy that one and it's VERY effective. You will see your acne fade away in 4 weeks if you follow Dan's regimen religiously/on a regular basis.

The AHA (10% glycolic acid) is said to be useful towards hydrating your skin (it can be used as a moisturizer), reduce your redmarks AND make your skin feel smooth. I've been using this for 3 weeks now and I've already seen an improvement in my skin.

Both of these products are not going to get rid of your problems over night but if you are very patient, you will be extremely happy with your results.

Also, re-assess your diet. Limit any sugary goods, drinks, cakes, ice cream and any dairy products (milk) as they're known to aggravate your acne even more.

Your acne doesn't look THAT horrible. Don't worry about how you look in front of people because at the end of the day, the only opinion that truly matters is yours.

P.s. Cut your hair and get a buzz cut. Your hair is probably the reason why you get pimples on your forehead.

Good luck bro.

yes,u can start on the regimen.

u can detailed help here from the mods and assistance team.

once u are able to get the acne under control , usimg AHA will take care of the PIH.

but unless u get rid of ur active acne, dnt try crazy stuff of the PIHs.

also,i highly suggest u find out what is actually causing ur acne.

if u r a teenager etc. then hormone+ genetics could be ur cause.

even otherwise, genetic could be cause but make sure other aspects like diet, lifestyle and/or skincare issues are not causing u to break out.

discuss ur diet, lifestyle and any wash/topical/med etc. here.
