I had a scar on my nose. My first, ACTUAL dented hole, but it didn't bother me too much. I had quite a bit of dead skin built up around that area though, so I took a razor to it. I overdid it and managed to make the already healed scar, bleed. This was 2 weeks ago. Now the wound has healed, the hole has closed and risen to be on equal level with the rest of my skin. Is this supposed to work? out of curiosity, as I'm new to scarring.
Perhaps, it could be a couple of situations.
1. A scar, or recently harmed skin usually raises then becomes indented eventually, (this could be what is happening)
2. You could be lucky and the new cut to the skin has generated new collagen production and completely healed the original scar.
For your sake I hope its the 2nd situation!
