Hey guys. After having spent two and a half months on tretinoin, I am looking for a more final solution. Please share your thoughts with me.

Ah how do I upload pictures from my phone?

Is the tretinoin not working well for you? What does your skin look like at the moment?

I don't think you can upload pictures from your phone on here. At least I don't think you can :/

Well right now I have scarring. My face has hyperpigmentation. It's red from that. The Tretinoin has worked pretty well clearing acne and shedding off layers of skin. I want peace of mind so badly.

I just seen your other post about how your skin looks right now. Your scarring didn't look to bad to me. I only saw a couple of rolling type scars. We are our own worst critics when it comes to our skin. Yours to me, looks like its on its way to being very clear! Just keep using your retin a until you're clear. Then you can focus on your scarring. Being consistent with an acne regimen is the best thing you can do. If you stop now who knows what could happen.

There are chemical peels and lasers for skin rejuvenation. Both work but lasers can go way deeper than some chemical peels. The phenol chemical peel is very powerful and goes deep into the dermis. I heard its rough and you have to be hooked up to a heart monitor and have to have numbing shots in your face. TCA peels are safer in my opinion and some lighter strength ones can even be done by yourself at home. I've only done jessner peels on my own with great results. I actually reduced a few boxscars with the jessner peel 🙂

If you're interested in chemical peels or lasers for scarring I'd start researching now to see whats best for yourself. I read many diy jessner peel blogs and watched as many YouTube videos as I could before attempting to do it myself. www.muac.com has a bunch of affordable at home peels. Just make sure to start off easy with light peels and work your way up. I started off with the jessners because I have acne,PIH and scarring and I was pleased with it.
