Hello,

I have ice pick acne scars on my cheeks and temples. They are barely visible when I put on a concealer but in certain lighting they are visible. My doctor said that chemical peels or laser will be good...basically it seems that he says either treatment would be good.

I have noticed that he thinks I am making a big deal about my scars because they are "barely" visible according to him. They are STILL scars and I and other people can still see them though.

What would you recommend me to do? Peels, microdermabrasion, laser... what specifically? I mean, what kind of peels? What kind of laser? Just want to have a smooth skin once and for all.

If they're actual "severe" ice pick scars then either tca cross (not a tca peel) or fractional co2 would probably help you the most.

If they're just milder scars you can look into stuff like retin a, normal fractional laser (not co2), chemical peels, microdermabrasion etc
