has anyone got these treated before? If they are deep enough they cant be treated with laser, and mine are on the tip of the nose so punch excision cannot be done i've been told by a few dermatologists.
TCA cross also does not work on the nose, and there are sources that say that fillers are not that great for acne scars as they will just come out through the hole again.
What are the possible methods for treated quite deep pitted acne scars on tip of nose?
Hi , I have the same problem as you with added hyper pigmentation. I am thinking of investing in a tca peel kit and am still researching it, most scarred pores i think only go as far as the first dermis rather than more severe scars than penetrate the second dermis so a deep peel should lessen their appearance? This could be crap but i remember being told by a leading dermatologist about severity of scars and the dermis.
Also dermarolling/ stamp / needling could work .. I have done needling on scars on my face and seen really good improvement to the point where they have gone from medium severity to light, but so far have not done needling on my nose.
I don't have ice-pick or nose scarring but I have heard awesome things about Airgent. The clinical study I read indicated that ice-pick scars improved the most from the treatment. It looks pretty interesting. I'm thinking about having it done after my Dermarolling sessions to see if I would benefit.
Lfc is right too, peels are supposed to be quite effective in that area but I'm not sure how many you would need.
