el-loco - I'd advise on just doing the few scars that are the worst and learning to live with the smaller ones that don't matter.
There is no way u are going to be able to apply BP, then apply dermaflage. dermaflage needs clean, washed, dry skin for application and once applied will last for days.
as for cost, it has gone up in price. Still cheaper than medical procedures. And at least you'll fill.
i was going to order some a few months back but what worries me is i might order the wrong "color" for my skin. I'm not to sure on what to choose. I'm native american, i'm not to sure if theres a perfect color for my skin. i guess thats why the offer samples right? maybe i'll give it a go soon, thanks for the notice rupert, i appriaciate the advice

They do not state the price for the treatment, but it looks to be around US $ 5,000 (for 3 treatments).
it's more like 4,000 unless you add in other things like lasers or subcisions of course.. injections after that would be less because you don't need the inital cost to get everything set up
so Rupert I realized they are now selling a kit specifically for acne scars issues. since you're an experienced user of this product, would you say it would actually work better? I can't really see much difference between this and the regular kit so I don't know if it matters
I have been visiting these scar forums for years to read about other people's experiences with scar treatments. I have two big chicken pox scars and lasers have not done much because they are deep (box-scars). They are very noticeable and I used to avoid talking to people because they stared at my scars and it made me feel depressed. I thought the only solution would be to have them excised, but was too afraid of the outcome after some terrible experiences I read here (in most cases the scar was not "flat" as promised by the surgeon). One of them (the worse one) is in my cheek and the other one in my forehead. Make-up only made my scars look worse, it made the scars edges more noticeable (they are crater scars).
Rupert, after reading your post I decided to try Dermablend. This was a couple of months ago, and I have not visited these forums again until now. Mainly because I'm no longer obsessed with my scars. I'm so grateful I found this product. It takes some practice to apply it correctly, but once you learn the scars are totally gone. I used to think about my scars 24-7, always obsessing with the lighting when talking to other people. I just came back to share my experience. I was willing to change my craters by linear scars, but this is even better because scars cannot be seen at all. Yes, I would prefer a permanent solution rather than using "make-up", but I don't think there is a permanent treatment that will totally fix my scars right now, so I'm more than happy with this temporary solution.
Thank you Rupert. I hope this helps other people here too. I'm not selling this product, but as Rupert said, I want it to be successful so they keep selling it, because it is the only thing I found that covers my scars .
I purchased a dermaflage acne scar kit and applied it to my ice pick scars as well as my rolling scars. it starts to peel very fast and is very obvious that you are wearing a layer on top of your scars. it might work for tiny ice pick scars if you do each one individually but i'm not really sure.
I think I'm going to try this. Obviously I'd like to get enough improvement from treatments that I'd feel comfortable in my skin without any make-up or concealment, but I know it could probably do me a lot of good if on my bad days I could make the worst pockmarks look better or almost unnoticeable with some kind of a product.
Shame Rupert's Dermaflage instruction page doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Now i'm just giving my opinion based on my experience but i'm happy to hear it works for you, Rupert. I'm looking more for a permanent fix whereas dermaflage is only temporary which to some isn't such a bad tradeoff.
I think most of the reviews from REAL people have been negative on this product. Seems like there were a lot of accounts made specifically to talk up this product. All hit and run posts - one post and then that's it.
It's an intriguing product for sure, but I wonder if it looks obvious in natural lighting.

im assuming you had the normal dermaflage kit? they came out with a acne scar kit specifically for acne scars. i think this is more effective on ice pick n boxcars i dont see this working on rollling scars i just dont
I use dermaflage on the one small scar on my left cheek everyday and it works very nicely. It does take awhile to get the technique down but I was using it for other scars and eventually found out it only worked to my satisfaction on the one on my left cheek. I love it for now, I use the primer and then apply it with a tooth with a comb. The key is to use as little as possible while filling about 3/4 of the pit and then once you apply the texture pad it will automatically fill the rest in without there being to much causing it to mound or clump up, looking unnatural. It will stay on for various amounts of times, i have noted anywhere from 1-3 days typically depending if i use sunscreen, it seems to make it slough off sooner. It stays on after a shower and any outdoors adventures I have too so overall it works for me while I get other treatments started. Also, It cant be too bad for healing either since there is medical grade silicon in the product, well known for its scaring healing properties. Now if you are trying to cover up 15 scars on your face with this product its just not going to happen, it will take too much time and the results with probably not be satisfactory. If you have a few scars I would still suggest getting some and just playing with it and see what comes out of it.
Firstly i found that it took way too long to apply if you have more than one or two scars. Secondly i thought that it looked kinda unnatural in normal day lighting. Indoors and at night you couldn't tell the difference though.
Also it only works to some degree for deep scars, it's impossible to cover the shallow scars with this stuff.

im glad worked for you. what is your scar that responded best was it rolling ice pick or boxcar?
It is a smaller sized boxcar that has remained quite red for awhile, so until the redness goes away i plan to use it. Im also confident that I can almost completely take it away with long term micro needling. Since i only use it on one scar I can make it look flush and natural with the surrounding area but I see that we all agree multiple scar coverings are possible but probably will wont look too good.
Dermaflage is definatley for single scars but wont work for someone with multiple icepick scarring and ect. I ordered the product for my icepick scars and it looked terrible. Bottom line if you have a few bigger scars you would like to hide it is achievable with the right techniqe but for mulitple indented scars it would b complete waste of time and hard earned money! Please dont waste your money people coming from an honest consumer!
I have this stuff but got frustrated with it. My biggest "issue" is that my understanding is it needs to be applied to product free skinwhich means no serums or moisturizer around the scarred area. And I guess no sunscreen either. Also, it doesn't do well with makeup (except for mineral makeup which makes my skin look terrible).
Other than that, it IS promising. The couple of times I got it right, I was amazed! But I seem to be impaired when it comes to the application of this stuff. I'm going to give it another try after reading this thread.
