I'm curious because I've been using my treatment gel on a spot for a little while and it's completely flat now, but the red mark remains, so do I use carry on using my spot treatment on the mark for a while or switch to a red mark treatment? Thanks in advance :angel:

Depends on whats in the treatment. If its a AHA or some other kind of peeling acid, then yes it will help a little. If its BP or some kind of antibiotic, then no.

 

Better off using an all over acne treatment really. Prevention is much more effective then any cure when it comes to red marks.

Good question. I just stop using the spot treatment (once the spot clears) and then wait some time and then the red finally goes away too. The spot treatment is usually just to dry the skin and clear etc. I think then the skin must heal.
