it was blurry for me too bad quality video on phone if anybody is on pc try to use a software RTMPDUMP and watch that video on chrome RTMPDUMP give you a message to download that video...
download it
i tried downloading it but ony able to download the video the audio not came with that...i dont know why this happened
I dont know if they did it on purpose? You cannot see it Perfectly but the result of the leg seem to be very good.
Anish? Did you see it now or not? Who cares about the audio. Check the slides on pc with chrone and upload it or tell us if its really that great. I am not at home right now so I cannot use pc.
And why the fuck they always show results on black guys. Black leg, black chest.
Whats next? Black face? Anyways, it really looks like that they solved our problem?
Where are the experts here? Tano? What do you think about their latest presentation and on one slide they compare native skin with skinte but the skinte looks damn scarred.

because that slide is replacement of split thickness graft so they only took epidermis and part of dermis perhaps as they said they partially removed scarred skin. Leaving fibrotic scar tissue then applying SkinTe to reduce the boys keloid scars and contraction and also compare it to skin graft i guess as the standard of care

What I don't understand is why they wouldn't excise full-thickness skin. I don't recall them talking about doing a partial excision in the conference call. I might have missed it. I thought "split thickness" in split thickness skin graft referred to the donor site, and not the depth of excision? As in, taking split thickness skin from the donor site, and not relevant to the depth of wound being treated.

I think in this case they wanted to try it. In the case of the young boy because of risks. As far as I can remember this was the reason because its a young boy. Mundinger did this?

I think what we should do is to comuunicate with swanson again and try to learn about cosmetics results of their regenerative product the regenerative skin will be looked like the way it was before the defect ? what their pipeline for their cosmetics products???? I would try by myself to communicate with them but English is not my native but u golfpather ??? or tano???? you goes have done this before .. I thnink it is a good idea to communicate again to learn about this I said before what do you think guys?
I sent a message to them on facebook in regards to surgical scar revision and they advised me that i would need to find a clinician first that would be able to do the procedure and the clinician liaise with Polarityte to get the application. They intend full commericial roll out for skinte in 2019 so i dont think anything will be available for cosmetics until then. They have a big summit 25th of June in which i am sure they will have plastic surgeons and derms in attendence. Also they have a sales team now dedicated to marketing this product to clinics so we will need to give them time to build their networks. I am not hoping to be able to get anything done until 2019/2020. Still ill wait. I have hope. 80% regen skin is good enough for me as long as its smooth ay. I think we should all be celebrating actually. This is a scientific breakthrough and i thank this board for evening finding out about it.

i find the inpatience of this annoying. They clearly state in the presentation it remodels for a year! Do you expect a perfect 3 layers functional skin to grow out a wound like that to be 5, 7 or 12 weeks. It covers the wound and early healing does look like scar tissue yes and i am not suprised.
Needs to be given a year for final result. 6 months to get an idea.
This is the first product to ever be able to do even this to be honest so we have nothing to compare it to in terms of how it should look at 12 weeks and whether some sort of scar tissue does appear but then gets remodelled by the regeneration process when appendeges are up and running and working. There was a study where hairs were put into scars on mice which triggered regeneration. So jury is still out.

All these traditional grafts have a margin like Skinte, it depends now how you heal, some are bad and some you can't even see, they have had resurfacing in some images and or zplasty by creative plastic surgeons to hide the work. You can still tell it's different tissue quality. Geometric Zplasty and plastic surgery flaps can hide some issues.
Cases like below it would be beneficial, ... they would be happy with any improvement to the process they could get with skinte vs... full thickness traditional grating.
Most of them are full thickness grafts except the lady on top and the black guy had flap surgery not full thickness skin grafting.
Thats why the leg pic especially is so amazing.
I recently got my split thickness skin graft with a dermal substitute removed with tissue expansion and i can tell you they feel awful and function awful. I now have a surgical scar instead and plan to get tht revised with skinte!
@nikki_garginExactly I think it's perfect for you, and I am excited you can get it. Nothing that great out there. Any type of improvement for acute cases would be great as some of them have life threatening disabilities and health concerns.
I also think skinte would be great for major body scars and for say Acne conglobata or lupus or other auto immune stuff it would save cutting out the grafts. Even failed surgical closures where the skin will not heal properly.
For the face I don't think this product will give many what they want of perfect flawless scarless healing. For the highly skeptical aestheticsmarket. If you look at the boards where we help people with traditionaltreatments (for acne scars) people are often not pleased by tiny imperfections of treatment, there is a differentmindset of perfection. So many on these boards and on this mega post have perfectionist ideals (BDD, etc) where their "very minor" scars could be improved by traditional methods, but they are all or nothing (it must be perfect or they want nothing). This is not healthy.
This product will help what it is intended to do give functionalityback to burn and traumaticscar victims.
Any options are better than no options right, you must evolve the outcome of treatments through improvement. What I think most people are interested in for aestheticsis if it could be a replacement to fat grafting though injecting under other tissue layers or controlled damage (laser) - these items it would not matter how it looks as they would act as filler.
Also for older patients the outcome will be interesting, as younger patients tend to heal well from invasive traditionalgrafting.

ok so @beautifulambitionyes treatments current of scars are good for maybe acne scar and those acne scar which have normal texture means the scar which have pores, some hairs look like normal skin texture dont apeear shiny but depressen in skin you can say it like rolling scars but with normal skin texture
but what can be done to those acne or chicken pox scars which lost its texture completely means it dont have hairs it look shiny like a burn scar it dont have texture of skin and its depressed in skin????
the scars which have normal texture can be corrected by fillers subcisions
but how can u regain the texture of a scar which lost it texture and appear as shiny as in some chicken pox scar cases you see ??????yes peels fillers , needling ,subcision etc match their depression with surrounding skin but what about its texture it still look weired....
sorry BA but without complete skin regenration i dont think that any treatment can gain a scar texture like a normal skin .......
You have only a few tiny scars . We tried to help you before but you wanted scalress healing perfection.
See a good specialist for 1. Manual microneedling / dermastamp, not with machine, not with motor but with hand. Crunching of scars when vertically broken. 2. Subcisionas above in a very acute angle, with or without Botox to relax the muscle tension 3. More manual subcsion with saline or even PRP. erbium depends on the specialist and the lasers. Co2 Fractional can give a "small" marginal improvement. Dermal filler on bone to elevate the entire area. Its calculated risks, but works well.

I don't get this response from Skin TE. There is a list of docs already using the product. I spent weeks contacting plastic surgeons that are currently using this product only to be shut down given no information, told they can't help me, everything was like hush hush they don't know anything. All of my work was futile and now they are saying to find our own doctors to do it why can't we use the docs that already know how to use it. WTH

Also when can docs start using it if we were to find a doc to use it. The ones using it now will not say or are not allowed to say they are using it!
@beautifulambitioni respect your opinion ..you are giving advice to peoples from years ..you maybe correcr but please first listen mr
you say i have tiny scars ...no....i have more scars but they only come in camera in index lighting and my pox scars are which are on nose come in every lighting
i willl try to get index lighting and capture and upload my more scars which you dont know
anyways yeah subcision needling PRP everything works but they can only match scars level to surrounding as from self needling i matched some scars level to skin but it still look weired ..why ???? becausr it has different texture from normal skin
so matching scar depth level isnt a big deal...fillers subcision needling all do that but some scars have shiny texture with no pores that make them look different you cant correct them by any method from current scar treatment

The whole idea of using Skinte is for...
1. Less scarring and better function
2. Saves taking large donor grafts creating more defects (critical for burn patients with not much good skin left)
So if Skinte can reduce contraction and scarring in large body scars....why cant it do the same for a very small scar?....I don't get it.
this product either regenerates and improves scars or it doesnt....simple
these results are crap.
