Seriously... what? I gotta believe some of you are just trolling the board at this point. If that's how you get your kicks, so be it. Again, it was released LAST YEAR. As in 2017.

I've gotta agree. Ten years at least for a real biological treatment. Polarity TE is just like that Recell skin spray, might help a bit with burns. But its not gonna do anythign for deep acne scars. We're already well into 2018
Yes, ten years... based on what exactly? And when did less than a month in count as well into a year?
Look, SkinTE is out right now. It was out in 2017 for commercial use for scars and wounds of various types. That's not debatable, that's fact, unless you think PolarityTE is just making stuff up, consequences be damned. None of us on this board, I'm guessing anyway, are qualified to talk about whether it will or won't achieve complete regeneration in humans based on the data so why post nonsense like this?
Are you seriously implying that 3rd degree burn scars are somehow less severe than acne scars??? I think we all know that is completely false.
If anyone just likes to post silly things like this to get a rise out of people, okay, more power to you. Otherwise, let's try to keep it in the realm of actual observation.

why will Skinte not work?.....hit me with your unemotional wisdom, please.
Did Recell regenerate fully functional all layers, hair bearing skin in pigs also from deep fully excised wounds? I never seen these results could you elabrate?
Then maybe these swine models are fakes. Fairly ballsy move for 3 renowned medical practitioners to leave behind a career and prestigious hospital to attempt to fool everyone and scam money including the poor patients they treated daily.
worth noting they are currently removing healed skin grafts from patients and using Skinte on the fresh wound to replace graft. Remarkable in itself because they are already using Skinte to hopefully achieve cosmetic/aesthetically better skin than the scarred grafts.
they who have no hope need not apply.......

It is the same thing all over again. Depressed people trolling this board without even knowledge facts. This must be one of the few message boards where the moderators allow trolling.

I think the moderators do the best they can. It's probably best for us all to just ignore the comments that make baseless claims or confuse readers by misrepresenting actual facts. If they are trolling, I'm guilty of feeding them for sure.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well!
Raising doubts about the efficacy of this new method is not trolling. I'm allowed to be a skeptic. Posting three photographs on pigs isn't all that convincing on the original trial. I also have doubts that it will work for acne scars, even if it does work for burn wounds.
If it does work for acne scars, I will be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm happy to own that and I will be celebrating with the rest if you.

You posted this, which is why a lot of us thought you might be trolling. Again, SkinTE is out now for scar sufferers of a lot of different types according to their press release. It's been released so the chances of it being on the market are 100%.
Now, if you'd posted that it will available specifically for acne scar sufferers, that's more nuanced. If that's what you meant, I get ya. However, it's not really productive. If it works, chances are you could find a provider that would try it for you. If it doesn't work at all or not a significant enough improvement to entice you then it's all moot anyway.
I personally have repeatedly said it's possible (though I extremely doubt it's the case) that PolarityTE risked their reputations and quite possibly the freedom of their board members by lying about the results in pigs. But at this point... does it matter? It's on human patients and it will work or it won't. At that point if it does, yeah, I suspect we'll all be elated. If it doesn't, the fact they did or didn't lie about results in pigs is meaningless to us unless some of us invested.
10 hours ago, AI3forever said:Does anyone know when the results of the human trials be out?
None of us really can answer that beyond saying that PolarityTE's press release stated results would be coming out throughout the first half of 2018.
I've speculated that because their press release on December 15th, 2017 that they should have results (based on how long it took for the pigs to heal) by late January to mid-February. But again, no one knows when any of it will actually be released.
Somebody will try it on acne scars if this has good results on other types of scarring........not going to cause much damage if one tries it on a small area of acne scarred skin. I only come here once in awhile anymore. I would be more than happy if skin TE has amazing results on acne scars because i know the psychological effects it causes. Just don't get your hopes up too high as i have seen too many new treatments come out....promise the world///then deliver nothing....and take your money. I would keep away from the Sunogel as they work out of a strip mall.

To be fair to Sunogel, they aren't an operating business at this point (i.e. they don't actually sell a product). They're going to do clinical trials, which means it will be some time (if ever) before a product is commercialized. That doesn't mean we should stay away from them and the fact they're in a "strip mall" just means they're keeping costs low while they're in the research phase.
I agree, if it works (fully or with major improvement to existing methods) on burns, you'll be able to find a surgeon/derm that will treat your acne scarring. If it gets complete regeneration there will just be way, way, way too much money for them not to try it. That's where I'd be careful though because you'd want to make sure it was a reputable and elite surgeon.
I have not had a consult yet but I have found a plastic surgeon using skinte in TN and one in NYC. I wanted to go to the NYC doc because close to me but she is not accepting new patients. They said she is using it though. They are using this in surgery and trauma not acne scars but if it works on other scars why wouldn't you be able to use it on acne scars. If it does work it will be so great. It might be a slower process maybe they would work on one area at a time not the full area not sure how they would approach it. Also just called a doc in Canada not sure if he is using it left a vm.I just went down the list provided here on the site. Very time consuming to get to the right person. Big hospitals are very hard to get the docs on the phone. Most are using it in trauma centers and burns it sounds like

Great work! I'm assuming that the people you talked to at the clinics didn't offer up any info in terms of results or price.
Pretty much what we expected in terms of uses, but good to have firsthand verification that it's being used and where. I also find it encouraging that the doc in New York is continuing to use it. By this point if it was a complete flop they would know and the doctors using it would have stopped. So at the very least it's not leaving people with gaping open wounds.

How did you find out surgeons that are using SkinTE? I'm in California, do you know if any surgeons are using it here?

Since kim6288 said she went down the list that I put up on this site I'm guess the doctor isRachel Bluebond-Langner. She works at New York University and was in the list because she's one of PolarityTE's clinical advisors. I surmised a bit ago that since there were 14 advisors and they're in 15 clinics that there was a good bet the majority of the users were the advisors.
kim6288, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

kim6288 was just cold calling the doctors that were listed as clinical advisors to PolarityTE. If SkinTE is in California it'd likely e at a burn center. You can easily find a list of burn centers in California on Wikipedia. Just start calling all 18 of them and you'll likely find your answer.
11 hours ago, Sniffy said:Yes seems unlikely its a complete failure if its being used regularly especially in trauma units. What % of improvement its getting is still mystery.
Agreed, at the very least it isn't just flaking off leaving giant exposed wounds. I'd imagine it's doing at least as well as skin grafts if docs are still using it a month after the press release that SkinTE was on patients.
PolarityTE is losing lots of money in the stock market right now.....that's not good news, especially at this point
1 hour ago, SimpleMutton said:PolarityTE is losing lots of money in the stock market right now.....that's not good news, especially at this point
Well the stock value doesn't mean much at this point. It didn't lose much the past few weeks. It's hovering around 22 - 23$/share last time I checked. It's pretty stable. It lost a little of its value because no major announcements have been made. I don't expect a major announcement until they have proven results. Then again, if this thing doesn't work, I expect Polarity to try to keep the suspense a little longer to protect the stock value until they decided to blow it all up.
1 hour ago, SimpleMutton said:PolarityTE is losing lots of money in the stock market right now.....that's not good news, especially at this point
If word got out that it didn't work (or offered insignificant improvement) we'd see a massive drop. The stock price has been between $22-$24 for some time now so the volatility we've seen lately doesn't really worry me.
I think some of the selling we've seen lately is probably stemming from the fact nothing major happened at that conference. They stuck to their guns in terms of saying they believed it would achieve complete regeneration in humans but offered no new information or results. That was probably a tipping point for some investors. Especially ones that got in early when it was $3 a share and would get a fairly massive ROI if they sell now.
We just have to be patient and await results or hope kim6288, or some other active person, finds out from docs how SkinTE is working.
