It's been a long time so is this hydrogel thing available or is it died as every other single "miracle" that promises the impossible?
Yes, it's been a long timeall of two years! Guys, it's not really been that long at all and they're still actively researching it's applications. It hasn't died, I just posted that they're completing trials on larger animals (pigs) in 3-6 weeks.
I'm sure we'd all love it if we could wake up tomorrow and the solution was available, but things do take a bit of time. Maybe longer than they need to thanks to FDA regulations, but we'll find out about the hydrogel's results for pigs in the not too distant future. And to clarify, none of us (to my knowledge) have any news on how those trials are going (e.g. whether or not it just improved scar outcomes or achieved the same complete regeneration in pigs as it did in mice).
Wait, to clarify.. They're already doing the pig trials right? And it will be done in a few weeks time.
After that, comes human trials right?
Yes.
Thx for replying
If that is true then, human trials will probably finish in 1 to 2 years.
Probably not that fast. From what I understand human trials aren't beginning for about another year, and then it would take at least 3 years for this to be available to the public. But still, if the hydrogel works, then it works. It's great news regardless of when it will be available.
Pig test end in 2 months? hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
pigs test need 2 OR 3 YEARS AT THIS MOMENT
AFTER THAT THEY START HUMAN TEST
dont dream
dont be like 'se..s' a dreamer
Maldition, the John Hopkins researchers said that the larger animal testing will end soon. If we listen to this then we're not dreamers, we're just logical human beings. Take your negativity elsewhere.

Look maldition. Your negativity isnt healthy anymore. Infact, your statements are more based on your feelings.
If you are having a miserable life, this is not the thread for it. If you want a miserable life, cool but dont take us with you.
If you want to believe that hydrogel wont work and there will never be any solution, listen carefully,,, WE DO NOT CARE.
Go somewhere else you troll.
Maldicon, quit attacking people. And get this: like everyone else I have not dreamed up cited pdf documents for others to read on computer screens. I'm not the sandman. And a scientific document is a document. A scientific document is a document that can be tested until the end of time. Btw, I may stop talking to you, as imo, after 3years I reckon it is silly trying to talk to someone using babelfish to communicate. Imo, I may be wrong here, but I reckon it shows a lack of respect to other posters, especially if you consistently expect them to work extra hard to translate what you have stated.
You still cannot write or understand English well. For instance Collegekidd and Golfpanther have noted in a sentence or two that the university has stated the animal trials could be done in X amount of time. You, for some reason, ignoring that to boot, and with no evidence have, in your irrational paranoia, stated it will be X amount of years for the testing to end... And here you are going on feel, calling people who cite mapped documents names???
I honestly cannot understand 50% of what you say (and by the way, this is not me insulting you; it is me highlighting a serious fault in translation. Simply: how can someone communicate with someone if they do not share similar languages?). What you say in English is confusing. In fact it is like you 1. deliberately mistranslate something in babelfish then 2. explain something, or attack a messenger via a translation from babelfish. (To highlight what you say in English, translate this with machine babelfish from English to Spanish and back again. This is how you speak.)

So much incoherent babbling on here. Trolls be trolling I guess.
Bottom line, all we have to go on is what JHU releases, which is:
1. The pig trials will be ending at the end of this year or beginning of next.
2. They've stated an 18-24 month timeframe (published in an article earlier this year) for human trials.
3. The dextran hydrogel resulted in complete regeneration, with appendages, in mice.
4. They've received funding from the NHLBI for the trials.
5. They have at least one angel investor (cited in one of the articles linked to on this board).
I think that about covers all the available information we have as of now. All this other crap being posted about longer timelines and name calling is just people wanting attention for whatever reason. Let's just stick to posts that are relevant to the topic of scar-free healing.
It's sad to see how some people just go on acting like kids even though the moderators have almost shut the thread down in the past because people were acting like kids.
Maybe that's the goal of these people; to incite and derail in order to have the thread shut down?
Anyway, among other things I didn't know that the pig tests were about to end. That's exciting in and of itself. I can't wait to hear what the results of them were.
Hey guys,
I was wondering, why does it take so long for them to test it on humans?
I mean, after testing it on pigs and having results. Coudn't they just hurry up and make arrangements quickly for human trials? What do they need 18+ months for?
Most trials look for possible side effects down the line. Also they start with a small group and then test on a larger group I think.
i have news
a friend has telephonically communicated whit one of the doctor
that doctor is on pig test and he said ''' in mouse hidrogel Works path.......in pigs is not'''
I have a hard time believing you. First of all, there really is no evidence but your words of mouth.
Secondly, you quoted what the doctor said and im pretty sure the doctor has atleast a decent grammar if not good.
Sigh, no words for you dude. Just pity....
