Maya, you still look old? Are you peeling? What have you been doing to your skin since this started?

Hi Emma biggrin.gif

Thanks for asking, but my face has just about stopped peeling!! I spent days just applying jojoba, emu and camellia oils on it ... but that didn't help (not sure why) .... so I changed tactics ...

These are the 2 things that were most moisterising:

1. Living Nature "Extra rich manuka honey day cream" (which I've just noticed has camellia and frankincense oils in it!) www.livingnature.com Denise2 recommended me this site some time back and all their stuff is fantastic!!

2. Kinerase lotion - scorpion_vixen put me on to this ... and I found some samples off ebay .. but take a look at the stuff here: http://www.kinerase.com/

After applying the last 2, my face healed up very well!!

Oh ... and maybe while I was peeling, putting too much camellia oil didn't help as I now realise it also has AHA actions.

But still, I really would like to try the HA supplements ... I guess anyone my age or near it wants to ... he he..

I'm glad you don't look old anymore Maya smile.gif You did the right thing by being gentle on your skin. Drinking lots of H20 helps a bit too.

I would like to use kinerase, and ironically enough was just looking into it, but I don't think it would be good for my acne prone skin sad.gif There are so may things I'd like to try, but can't because of that..oh well.

animegirle~ did you notice that your body was retaining water by using this pill or does it just affect your skin?

I just bought Source Natrurals Hyaluronic acid. It was expensive but the only one I could find that wasn't online. I am going to try it and if I like it then I will buy some cheaper stuff.

Thanks.

As a side note it has also helped with pain in my knee (old track injury)...that alone is worth taking them on my end.

Do you have any red marks from old acne that have faded at all? It seems that you have been taking this for a little over a month. I wonder if it takes the full 3 months to see any difference

Thanks.

Maya,

The biggest thing I notice is the plumping of the skin. My scars have changed quite a bit over the last 1-1 1/2 months, but I am sure that is a combination of supplements, Smoothbeam and topicals. The biggest thing w/ the HA is my skin looks worse if I stop taking it for several days, so as long as it helps my skin and my knees I am on the bandwagon.user posted image

I can't wait to get the HA then! My knees are in for a treat then? And I can't wait to look all plumped up biggrin.gif

Will report back when I start taking.

It's so weird, even with shipping costs and import taxes, it's so much cheaper buying stuff from the States! www.iherb.com has great prices!!

Maya: Would you know where to look to buy the sticky vegetables?

I'm taking the HA and have noticed no TMJ or knee pains for several days now. I wanted to also start eating the sticky potato, but I can't find it in the grocery stores.

BTW: I paid $21 american on Ebay for the HA. I can't find it for any less so far.

I'm looking for sticky vegies that the HA comes from like satsumaimo, satoimo, konyaku, and imoji as Connie Chung describes in here research on the Villiage of Long Life and HA.

Hi guys,

I picked up a different brand of Hyaluronic acid caps tonight at GNC and it came with a HA Skin Rejuvenating Serum. I am going to give this a go and see if it has any effect. The ingredients are: Purified Water, Glycerin, BioCell Collagen II (Type II Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Chondroitin Sulfate), Propylene Glycol.... It is under the brand name of Derma Beauty.
