Hiya,

I've come across the nivea daily essentials light moisturizing day cream for normal to combo skin.

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Methylpropanediol, Cyclomethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Octocrylene, Sodium Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonate, Tapioca Starch, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Nelumbium Speciosum Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Cera Microcristallina, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum, Alcohol Denat., Ethylhexylglycerin, Propylene Glycol, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Chondrus Crispus, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Trisodium EDTA, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, BHT, Parfum

I'm looking for a good spf to protect me all in one, but I'm not quite confident in identifying comedogenic products yet, but it doesn't seem to be. Could someone help me out?

Here's a list of ingredients that clog pores

http://facerealityacneclinic.com/articles/pore_clogging.php

I use

Neutrogena Men Sensitive Skin Oil Free Moisture, SPF 30

It works great for men and women. Best I've tried so far. Doesn't make you feel greasy either.

Thanks Trollmendous,

the list you sent has more ingredients on it than acne.org's own list. Is acne.orgs list not full-proof then?

I'm not sure how they create these lists. Here's another one which gives a more in depth account of every ingredient.

At a glance, I can't see anything that stands out to me (I haven't read any lists or anything), but it's ingredients list is like war and peace. I wouldn't go for anything that's that jam-packed with different crap.

Without going to the effort of cross checking every single ingredient, it contains perfume - that should have no place in your skincare regimen, especially for acne prone skin. Some people can get away with it but really its best to avoid it when possible.

Ta Circumambient, I'll keep it in mind

Another question I have is if any kind of butter is comedogenic - could it be any kind (e.g. Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) or would it just have to say 'butter' for it to be a comedogenic ingredient?

I appreciate your help
