Has Anyone Used Dan's Cleanser & Cerave's Cleanser?

For years I've been on the Acne.org regimen but I finally made a switch to a dermatologist and have stopped using his products altogether except for the cleanser. My dermatologist recommanded CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser and gave me a sample which I haven't used just yet.

Has anyone used Dan's cleanser then CeraVe? I'd like to know if there is a huge difference and if I should go ahead and just switch to CeraVe.

Did you take Dan's cleanser in for your derm to look at? My doctor (Dr Skin as I like to call him :) ) was happy for me to continue to use the acne.org cleanser once he looked at the ingredients.

Its seems a shame to stop using a product you have already purchased. Makes more sense in changing once you have run out (as long as your derm is happy with that).

No, I didn't take it but I told her the kind I used on the first visit and she asked if it was a mild cleanser and if it had salicylic acid in it. I told her it was mild and that it didn't have that in it, she said it was fine.

I am running out which is why I'm wondering if I should change it up a bit and see how it goes. I don't really have another appointment til another few months but I'll ask next time I suppose. I just wanted to see everyones elses experiences with it who had also used Dan's.

Don't bother with a cleanser. I don't use one and I have clear skin. I jus tuse benzoyl peroxide and a moisturizer.
