Exhausted from At-Home Laser Reviews, Is Professional Treatment Worth It?

I'm exhausted from trying to sift through endless reviews, forums, and blogs about at-home laser hair removal kits! My eyes are practically burning, and Im ready to pull my hair out instead of zap it off,

Heres the deal: I hate hair, and on a tight budget, I was really excited about DIY laser treatments. I even had a maybe this will finally work moment and did a little happy dance. But now, after all this research, it seems like only Tria and Silkn are worth considering, while everything else falls short. Has anyone tried either of these? Also, what about Rio?

From what Ive gathered, at-home treatments seem... well, weak, temporary, and pretty disappointing overall. Is it really that bad?

So now Im thinking maybe I should just save up and go to a professional clinic instead (goodbye, budget ). Im a 24-year-old female with olive/medium Asian skin tone (on the lighter side) and mostly fine black hair. Im mainly looking to treat my armpits and bikini area, where the hair is coarser, but Id love to hear about anyones experience, especially with professional laser.

And if anyone has done this in Vancouver, would you recommend Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre? Ive seen positive reviews but would love to hear firsthand experiences before I dive in.

Thanks so much for any advice or experiences!
