So I'm finally on Yaz for around one year. I have experienced different stages of acne problem throughout this one year :)

Being on Yaz:

Just started:

mild acne, oil production in overdrive

2 months in:

mild acne, skin suddenly dried up with zero oil production for a week

3 months in:

mild acne, oil production steadily and continuously decreased

6 months in:

skin no longer oily all the time, started to have cystic acne on my cheeks area

8 months in:

lots of cystic pimples breaking out regularly on cheeks area

9 months in:

cystic acne still there but no longer breaking out as frequently

10 months in:

mild acne, mostly papules and white heads

12 months in:

very mild acne, mostly white and black heads, oil production maintaining a normal level

Current acne-fighting routine:

Salicylic Acid 2% gel ~ every day
2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide ~ spot treating only when necessary
Queen Helene Mint clay mask ~ every 2-3 days or after squeezing white/black heads

I receive the laser and IPL facial treatment at Skin Laundry every 1-2 weeks (not an ad)

The Holy Grail in my acne-fighting routine is that I drown my skin in oil every night, applying a very very generous amount. Some of the oils I use and work are:
Jojoba oil, black cumin seed oil, argan oil, marula oil, roship oil, vitamin E oil

I also use hydrating sheet mask every day to compensate for the drying acne-fighting products.
