Hi, new member here, but I've been struggling with my acne for years. I don't have cystic acne, but I still think my previous pimples were pretty bad. Most of my pimples occur on my forehead, blackheads and whiteheads on my nose, and the occasional pimples on my chin. Also, my face gets really oily. In recent months my face has calmed down, though, so I think I must be doing something right. Here's what I've been doing with my skin, for those who would like to know:

Morning & Night:

- Wash face. I'm currently using Celeteque Brightening Facial Wash.

- Toner. I use Eskinol Pimple Fighting, because it's the only thing I can get my hands on. I only use Eskinol to get rid of the dirt my facial wash didn't reach, but Eskinol is rather harsh and it leaves a stinging feeling. Because of this, after I apply it on my face and neck with a cotton ball, I rinse my face with water. I do this to prevent it from thinning out the layers of my skin. (Sometimes if I'm too lazy I just skip the toner part entirely haha)

- Moisturizer. I'm currently using Olay Natural White. I like this one a lot because most of Olay's moisturizers are very mild and they cling to your skin immediately after you apply it. So this is perfect for me because I sweat a lot and I dislike having a greasy feeling on my face the whole day.

Afternoon:

- Shower. I get home feeling all gross and sweaty, so I take my showers in the afternoon. During my showers I scrub my face clean with water only. I know that some people are super grossed out by the water-only method. I was skeptical, too, so to test it out, I apply my toner after I wash my face with water only. The cotton ball ends up being clean, actually, so I can testify that the water-only method does get rid of the accumulated dirt on your face. However, you have to actually scrub your face with your fingertips, instead of simply splashing water on your face.

Results:

- My pimples gradually disappeared. Usually when they disappeared new ones would replace them, but after some weeks of following this regimen my pimples became very minimal.

- I still get pimples, but they're not the red, pus-filled ones anymore. :D

- No improvements on the blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. They're still there. :(

- My face feels sort of smoother now. I used to be obsessed with exfoliating, but this year I stopped because I realized I was just aggravating my skin.

- My face still gets oily, but not super shiny anymore.

Please feel free to ask me questions if you have something you'd like for me to clarify :)
