Have you tried to ease off Diane? Like take it every other day or something? Obviously it won't be effective anymore as contraception, but I've heard that that's a good way to avoid post-bcp breakouts. There's actually a user on this board from a long time ago who would shave off parts of the pill every few weeks until she was barely taking any. I think it took quite a while but her acne didn't return when she stopped taking it completely!
Hey! Been following your post for a while.. I may have commented here before but I can't remember :\ anyway, just wanted to say don't be scared! I was on Dianette for about 3 months but my face was so destroyed from the breakouts that I had a major breakdown to my GP as well as my mum as acne was affecting me greatly. I was SO depressed for many many months ..it was affecting my university and my relationships with friends/family. Not good.
Anywyayyyy, fast forward 5 months I am now on Accutane been on it for 5 months and all I have to say is it is pretty damn good. Still got 1-2 months to go..hoping acne never comes back.

I've been on dianette 11 months, it helped my skin but not as much as I'd hoped, I am now starting Accutane. Scary!!!
Hello there not sure if you're still coming onto acne.org, but i've read your blog so so many times throughout my Dianette journey to give me hope.
I'm about a week into my fourth month and my skin is still being rubbish. I've had great moments of a week to 10 days of averagely clear skin, and got so excited to many times my skin is finally clearing up, but every time it breaks out terribly and goes back to being awful 
I'm really struggling now and losing hope that Dianette will work for me, although the clear spells the past couple of months are giving me hope.
Any advice/previous experience you could share at this time would be great
