B: fish and veggies soup
L: grilled chicken, avo, micro leaves, half papaya and half sweet melon
D: fish and veggies soup, piece of grilled chicken
Mood: 6/10, really a hard day at work, cant expect too much
Energy: 7 - 4/10, waining towards end of day due to too small lunch portion to sustain me, but guess what, I have lamb knuckles (fatty meat) and veggies in the slow cooker for tomorrow
Skin: no real actives, 7/10
Not bad at the moment, but it can be bad, well, for me at least. No cysts, but a lot of whiteheads, blackheads and pustules, my forehead almost looked as if there was a rash or something at some stage. I'm not out of the woods yet, if I can keep this diet up for at least 3 months and remain relatively clear, will I believe that this has been a success.
Two weeks in and I'm really happy with my skin, but scared that things will change again. I have tried Paleo before without success, but with eggs, nuts and sweet potato. Now I only eat veggies, fruit, meat, chicken and fish. Fingers crossed that it will work this time.
Yep, in my case nuts and / or eggs gave me problems, will try eggs again at some stage just to make sure, I miss them.
B: lamb and veggies stew.
L: chicken, avo, sweet melon, papaya

Other observations:
My body skin seems less dry, almost normal. Usually it flakes off pretty bad.
No bloating.
Sleep has improved.
Less sleepy during the day.
My skin is better this morning. I have a lot of congested pores, not good, not sure what to do about it. I have switced to Dr Hauscka's skin care range hoping that it may help.
B: bone broth and veggies soup
Snack: chicken livers and strawberries
L: bone broth and veggies soup
I feel a bit down today, but the reason could be that I have to work on a report, again.
D: steak and roasted veggies (my cheat meal for the week, 98% sure that it was feedlot meat, also not sure about the oil used on the veggies even though the menu said olive oil). Felt guilty for eating out and the food did not score more than 4/10. I could have prepared something much better.
I'm going away for work for three days, so I may struggle to find something suitable to eat.
Skin: no actives, but I do see a few bumps from clogged pores.
Mood: 6/10
B: bone broth and veggies soup
L: chicken with salad
D: chicken with half-cooked veggies (I don't have an oven where I'm staying for two days, so I had to use the microwave, could not figure out how to cook the veggies or chicken for that matter, avo (really not a tasty meal)
Mood: 7/10
Energy: 7/10
Skin: 6/10, my skin felt oily and blotchy today, why can't it just be healthy and normal
B: shrimps, avo, veggies (carrot, pea, corn, broccoli, the middle 2 obviously not paleo, but my food choices are limited while I travel), strawberries, kiwi
L: same as above, only chicken instead of shrimps
Energy: 3/10
Mood: 6/10
Skin: 7/10, not perfect, but I can live with it
As you can see, had quite a bit of fruit the past few days, and subsequently a few small pimples on my chin, nose and forehead. Or else it was the nightshades, not to sure, but my bet is on the fruit. My skin still looks good regardless, inflammation is definately down. Strange about fruit, I need to test it some more, so for the next week or so I will refrain from eating any.
B: chicken and veggies stew
L: chicken and veggies stew
D: bone marrow and veggies soup
Mood: 7/10, my mood has also improved, normally I have more down days than up, now it seems the other way around
Energy: 7/10
Skin: 7/10
Just locally, from Johannesburg to Cape Town, but I'm back again in JHB (not for the week-end though)
My skin has taken a turn for the bad, especially my chin, I have developed a lot of small whiteheads on my chin? Fruit or nightshades? My skin was just fine last week? I can just cry.
B: bone broth and veggies soup
L: chicken and veggies stew
D: wildebees potjie with veggies (again not sure what sauces have been added), with a side salad (with tomato) / restaurant food
Mood: very good until about an hour ago when I saw my skin
Skin: 3/10, I need to figure out what went wrong
B: bacon and eggs, probably made with butter or worse margerine / hotel food
L: kudu fillet, pumpkin, mushrooms (some sauce on the meat, not sure what) / restaurant food
Skin: 3/10
Mood: 4/10
Energy: 3/10, was in the last ten to finish a mountainbiking competition, my low carb intake
Tomorrow I am back home and can eat normal again, loads of veggies, meat and chicken.
B: bacon and boiled eggs
L: bone marrow and veggies soup
Snack: chicken and veggies left overs
Just went shopping. This week will consist of chicken and veggies soup, chicken and veggies stew, O3 eggs and brocolli for breakfast, free range beef meatballs and maybe I will make some veggies juices. Hopefully things will settle down a bit. Won't be eating tomato (nightshades) and much fruit this week.
Skin: my chin really took a turn, had inflammation that came from somewhere, perhaps hormonal. My skin is also very oily, especially in the morning, or when I drive. 4/10
Mood: 6/10
B: scrambled eggs made with coconut oil and steamed brocolli
Snack: meatball with veggies
L: chicken and veggies stew
Snack: 4 strawberries and a meatball
D: chicken and veggies soup
Mood: 6/10, not too bad

B: scrambled eggs with spinach
Snack: meatball with 4 strawberries, bone broth and veggies soup
L: chicken and veggies stew, steamed brocolli, 1 avo
Snack: same as morning
D: 2 bowls of thick chicken and veggies soup
I love this diet, my food just tastes simply amazing, not sure if I will be able to eat out ever again
Mood: 8/10
Skin: 6/10, 4 or 5 actives around the chin area, but not bad, my skin texture and hair also looks better, maybe its just my imagination
B: scrambled eggs and broccoli
Snack: meatball, avo, rocket, watercress, spinach and cucumber salad (small)
L: chicken and veggies stew
D: chicken and veggies soup
Skin: 7/10, starting to look good again
Mood: 3/10, mostly due to work stress
Someone told me today that how can I be 37 and be so stupid to believe that diet can do anything for my skin (got a bit upset by his comment). He even said that I'm just looking for attention. Whatever...
My weight is my biggest problem on paleo, down to 50 kg again, my height is 1,68 m, so I'm underweight.
B: lamb and veggies stew
L: lamb and veggies stew
Snack: beef patty
D: chicken and veggies soup
Mood: 3-4/10, just felt a bit blah today, I do see a correlation with VLC the previous night and feeling very tired the next morning
Skin: 6/10, still getting pesky white heads around mouth and chin area, not bad though
Have not really seen a change after reintroducing eggs, could it be safe? Next might be fruit and nuts, I'll be so much happier if i can eat full-on Paleo, and not meat and veggies the entire time, even though its delicious, it does get boring.
Also had a large veggies juice.
Diet was same for week-end as above, meat and veggies stew / soup, mushrooms, avo.
Have also eaten macadamia nuts (4) today, so lets see if it breaks me out more than usual.
I also baked some coconut flour / pumkin muffins this afternoon, not too bad.
Skin: still getting some minor whiteheads on my chin, but maybe this is normal, I can't expect my hormones to just all of a sudden come right, so hopefully in another month or two they will be history (fingers crossed).
All of a sudden my forehead is not quite as smooth, do have a few small bumps. Still not sure if eggs are safe.
B: chicken and veggies soup, 2 coconut and pumpkin muffins (with eggs)
